The Q400 is probably an easy plane to fly. Remember, this was the make/model that was stolen when a Horizon Air employee took one for a joyride before crashing it into the sea. RIP Beebo.
PS: the figher pilots sent to intercept it were shocked that it could actually perform a barrel roll. Not easy to do for a twin turboprop with straight wings! That is a testament to its construction and its design team.
Fuel consumption seems to be the deciding factor in aviation these days! Years ago I travelled frequently on the Shorts SD360 which was an incredible aircraft that offered acres of space to the passengers and could withstand manys a heavy landing. I also remember on many an occasion being surrounded by the chirps of day old chickens.
These are big boy toys . A lot of money at play here, but they are beautifull. My personal choice is the single turbine Kodiak although single engines are not featured here. Although I am all for the twinotter . A real workhorse.
Certainly, the ATR aircraft may be considered too large for some buyers or regional operators in this category. In that case, the Piaggio aircraft is a great choice. With those features, the Piaggio provides a compelling option for those seeking a more suitable aircraft in terms of size and performance.
Your number 1 is out of league to the category of the others in the list. Infact you prefer to validate their ranking according to longevity in production when you position the P180 Avanti behind the older yet latest King Air.
If I have a choice, I'll take the Cessna Sky Courier, good study speed, fixed landing gear, and could be used to take people on the route from Las Vegas NV to St, George UT since no airlines flies that route today.
The Cessna SkyCourier does seem like a versatile and practical option for various purposes, including regional routes where commercial flights might not be available. Its fixed landing gear and good cruising speed make it suitable for such missions. Is there anything else about the SkyCourier or any other aircraft that you find interesting or noteworthy?
The Piaggio P180 is flying here sometimes. It makes a very loud and unpleasen noise. Sorry to say that negative about this special and interesting constraction.
I like your job but I have a small remark regarding this video You are not making the right classification: -combining light turbo engines a/c with medium -passenger planes with private/business
I dont get why airplanes like these cannot have three engines instead of two? I mean twin turbos technically are said to be safer than single engine planes given if one engine fails the other can probably help the plane land but suppose a third engine is added on the nose? Wouldn't this engine make this plane safer still? An engine that can run independent of the other two? At altitude perhaps it can also be used on its own to propell the plane forward hence saving fuel also? The other two engines to take off and land and or if time is of the essence to fly faster? Or if bothcother two engines fail the third nose engine can land the plane also? I just think that engineers limit themselves on the capabilities of airplanes or modern tech to make airplanes more fuel efficient and perhaps safer at the same time.
Flying a rubber band-powered goonie bird? Now, that's a unique experience! How does the thrill of winding up the rubber band compare to the power of modern aircraft engines?
Interesting and good explanations. But please..these are all AIRPLANES!!!!!!! When will most of you aviation journalists refer to the specific term of AIRPLANE instead of the generic aircraft?????
Indeed! While both aircraft have their strengths and appeal to different types of pilots and operators, their rankings can vary depending on specific criteria, mission requirements, operating conditions, and personal preferences. In our case, we reserve an editorial approach taking into account our writers' individual preferences.
King Air is so overrated. The cabin is tiny. Buy a Pilatus PC-12 for that price and deal with onky one engine for maintenance. PT6A is so reliable you really dont need two

The last one really isn't in the same class. If you're going to mention it you really should have mentioned the Dash 8 q400 which is a great plane
Fair enough! Thanks for the feedback!

piaggio p180 is choice for me.

Indeed! Excellent choices there. The Twin Otter is definitely one of our favourites here.
Why are you commenting about singles when they're talking about twins?
ATR 42 earns a lot in short distances below 600 kms. It's a workhorse. My favourite is the TBM's family single engine.
5. Skydiving
4. Fedex
3. Vip
2. King
1. Bus
Nice design Avante Evo!
Piaggio P180 or the King Air 360 are my 2 tops.
Either will be a good sidekick to the Pilatus 24 I'll be buying...!
ATR is too big for most buyer of this category. Go with Piaggio; it’s fast, highest cruise ceiling, and reasonably priced.

Plus the Piaggio is a chic magnet
Airliner and private aircraft are included in this category. I think it's better they are separated.
At 0:20 sec "... jet fuel prices are going up." Don't turboprops use the same fuel as jets? Am I missing something here?
King Air 360. Have a lot of time in the King Aires you just can’t beat them.
The ATR has the same seating capacity of a Greyhound bus if you want to fly a bus full of people to destination.
Obsessed with takeoffs & landings.
Muito bom gosto desse canal sempre acompanho
Muito obrigado!
I like the beechcraft..
What is the ATR doing in this List?

I was pic on twin otter in SAUDIA Arabia
True STOL Air craft
The King Air is the best choice!
Twin otter still the best"
the Kingair 360 er is the ticket !!
New sub! Liked 😊✌️🤭🤭😉
The Piaggio P180 is flying here sometimes. It makes a very loud and unpleasen noise. Sorry to say that negative about this special and interesting constraction.
프로펠러 비행기가 멋있다
In terms of size and passenger numbers, the ATR is probably in a completely different class to the rest of the aircraft.
I like your job but I have a small remark regarding this video

How is the DHC-8 Q400 not on first place 😭😭😭
that's first place on the "Top 1 planes stolen by Sky King" video
If you just want to pay a mx bill and not fly get the P180. I fly the KA 350, it's the king.
P180 Avanti Evo
I FLY A GOONIE BIRD WITH A RUBBER BAND HAS AN ENGINE !

N219 is the best

Expensive twin turbos LOL 😆 As opposed to the inexpensive???
Twin turbo’s how about twin turbines. Title is wrong.
Cn 219
The twin otter and cessna are too closely matched

This channel would be so much better if it used human numbers!

ATR 42 - 600 is not this class in my opinion.
Where is Dornie 228NG?
Stay out of Millionaire in Addison... New ownership has its ways of recording too much...
