I just installed this intake on my S550 Ford Mustang and I ran into a small issue. At minute 4:06 on the video above, the rubber grommet and screw from the stock intake would not fit in properly. They would get lose every time...any solutions? And unfortunately I happened to lose of the 5 screws for the intake cover...will that be an issue?

Hello, I just bought this admission and I would like to know what difference there is in removing or leaving the retain the sound generator? Should we leave it or take it off? I will not do any reprogramming ....

This will come down to personal preference. There are mixed opinions on leaving the generator in place and it will not require any reprogramming if left or removed.

So if u decide to retain sound generator, you can skip the part where you take off the sound generator?

Hey hmon14. You are correct. Simply bypass that step if you plan to retain the sound generator.

Did you remove the snorkel? Or just leave it in place?

Mishimoto Automotive sorry lol, the snorkel from the stock air box that diverts the cold air from the front of the grille.

Thanks Jason! Sounds like you're referring to the fresh air inlet duct (the one that pipes air in from the front grill area) - this does not get removed, but you may need to push it aside to install the airbox to its full depth under the radiator support. Let us know if this helps! :)
