You have to use the airator to pump new water in. The recirc pump only recirculates water from the bait well. It also can pump out as stated in the video. Hope that helps.
So if the white thing is completely in.. despite pressing the switch no water will come in? I want to use the livewell for other storage but sometimes friends accidentally press buttons/switches. Dont want a livewell full of water then..
Thanks just got a 09 and I'm taking it out first time Saturday. I'm sure I'll figure it out don't sound too bad just didn't get anything that shows how anything works. Thanks for The reply
+chris dyer as late spring/summer heats up, you also may want to bring a bag of ice with you and put it in the live well, this helps keep the temps down for both your catches and your bait. Just leave the ice in the bag, don't open it up and dump in.
Thanks for the tip. I was wondering on Lake temp keeping minnows alive. Sounds like a plan. I appreciate the tip. Have any others let me know... Lol. just took it out and this tracker is a lot of fun. First fishing trip is Saturday. :)
I sold this boat about 5 years ago, however, you can buy the screen at any marine supply. You just need to ensure you’re getting the right size for your fitting.
Does anyone know where the water goes once you pull the drain plug in the bottom of the livewell? Does it go out of a designated drain pipe/tube or just drain out into the hull of the boat? I have a 2020 Pro Guide V16 SC. Thanks
Liebelt Guide Service Thank you for the info. I just got the boat and mainly fish for catfish so that means a lot of big slimy/oily and scaly gizzard and threadfin shad and didn’t think that’d be a good move to be constantly draining shad water into the hull. I’ll do what you said and flush some water thru the drain and see where it comes out. Thanks again. 👍🏻
How do you keep water from going in the livewell? I just bought a 2018 bass tracker pro guide 175sc and took it out to break in the motor. Not sure how it happened but i didn't want water to go in and most of the time i never keep what i catch. Just want to prevent water filling in the well when not used.
ozzie kuma if the switch is in the off position, you should not be getting any water coming into the livewell. If water is coming in, I’d contact your dealer.
ozzie kuma Next time you are out just periodically check the live well and make sure the switch is off. If water is still coming in, then I’d take her in to the dealer. Hope that helps. If you’re getting water down in the bilge, that’s the worst that could happen.
ozzie kuma curious if you got this figured out? I just bought the exact same boat and had the same thing happen yesterday. We broke in the motor yesterday and I can’t be certain that the switch wasn’t accidentally turned on but my rear livewell was full of water.
kingrider75 it hasn't happened again since i broke in the motor. Just make sure that all the switches are on the off position. That's what I did initially and it damn thing still filled up don't know how but it hasn't happened again

So with red knob in, it just recirculates the water in well. And if red knob out it pumps water out and brings fresh Lake water in? Is that correct?
chris dyer yes that's right
Where can I get the screened plug on the bottom. Thanks for sharing.

It’ll be listed as a livewell screen or strainer

Ty’s Adventures it drains out of a fixture on the hull. When it’s trailered you can put some water in there with a hose and see how it works.

You should re-do the video. Next time make sure the mike is working. We can't hear you.
