    Thank you! We just got a used boat and needed to understand what is really going on 'behind the scenes' of the live well. Plus I am a picture person so seeing how it is all connected and how the valve works was really helpful.

    The pick up point for water in this video is the screen mesh to the buttom left of screen the longest hose. in other boats , under the hall there is opening and as the boat picks up speed the water is forced through a tube to the livewell. you need to go 10mph to get water pushed in the live well and there is valve inside the tank to stop the water . Another boat had the water pickup under the boat near center and connected to a spliter . half the water would go to livewell and another would be used to wash the boat from sea water.

    Nice graphics. Unfortunately it doesn't match my Tracker Deep V16. The pump is a Rule but the intake protrudes out the transom. It seems to feed 2 pipes but can't trace them nor see if I have an electronic switch somewhere else. I also believe there is a timer somewhere that cycles the water every 5 minutes. Don't know where that is or what it looks like. Hopefully you can do another great video with that system.

      Very welcome. my pump needs to be replaced about every 100hrs of operation so i save money by using it as needed . do not overcrowded the bait and rocking motion of boat is enough to keep the bait alive .Temp over 87f do not hold oxygen well so you need to use the pump more . on cold days you do not need to use the pump much ..

    what type of on/off switch do you have connected to the battery

    • @boashna
      @boashna  2 года назад

      I dont use on and off switch . Battery is 50% of boaters problems. A 12 volt battery is at 50% charge . correct full battery is 13.2 volt . charges suppose to shut off when battery is full but corrosion causes them to cook the battery. use a timer to cut off the charger . I have a video here ruclips.net/video/8TMdAnefb7E/видео.html

    what is the point of having two strainers

    • @boashna
      @boashna  Год назад +1

      Raw water uses it to stop grass and derbies from inbound to tank. Tank uses it to stop live shrimp from being flushed out to sea outbound drain ..

    why does the auto feature do on the switch

    • @boashna
      @boashna  2 года назад

      I don't use it . it brings water and discharge water and lets the tank stay level.
