If they don't heavily improve upon the story gameplay that was in 1.1 the gameplay will become very stale. The keycard mission was afwul and the gameplay felt like HI3 open map mission that became very tedious and boring after a few missions.
I actually don't mind the Hollow Zero ones that play like a board game with standard rules you can get used to. The problem is when they create new gameplay mechanics and tutorials for every new mission. I want to get into the action, not learn a bunch of rules to move around a grid.
Sht drains my soul whenever they try to add more stuff to the tv.. Its already bad that we’re doing it but we’re being forced to read tutorials for stuffs that we’re going to do only once
streamlining the tv mode will be nice, glad they're not just taking it out. will be interesting to see how they balance combat with how they intend to change ultimates. more ways to interact with characters will be nice as well. overall a good dev talk
Tv mode slowed things down especially with hollow zero to the point I don’t want to do them anymore it’s to tidiest. If it was like just a map/route maker where I map out a route to boss then spawn a route for you to run through with handicaps and call in to spawn in as I rush one room down to the next would be better with random buffs spawning in between would be better
My biggest problem with the TV mode is the "your connection is unstable" pop up. TV mode also plays sluggish without a solid connection. I hope this is fixed
Sometimes after a TV mode part the interactive background will get choppy too. It didn't used to do that. Hope they can get that cleaned up since it's just a background animation that shouldn't need a great connection to render.
It's not dead. They're just cutting back on it. But to answer your question just play Jane's episode in 1.1. That's how all future main stories will be.
So, GuitarRock, huh? You love TVs?!?! TV haters WINNING! Jokes aside, I'm glad they cutting TVs down. TVs are fine for one time content, but doing Hollow Zero weekly is mind numbing experience.
@@Masamune-Senpaiwhat did wise and belle do in the tv’s? Guide the agents, unlock passageways etc. that can still happen. We can run through the hollows as agents, and whenever something needs hacking? Boom TV mini game.
After watching the face to face, I went in-game, bought a $100 USD Monochrome pack, screenshotted it with my UID, and wrote in to customer feedback with the screenshot to tell them I bought another pack solely to show SUPPORT for the devs' decision in removing as much TVs as possible, and to keep up the good work killing the TV system. I'm doing my part. :) Keep the TVs to a minimum! They really sucked the fun out of the gameplay loop imo, and the 1.1 story patch was such a breath of fresh air that I have regained hope in the dev team's direction for the game. Dang, that sucks. Too bad they removed the TV-mode. I quite liked it when it comes up in short bursts. Camellia golden week's TV dungeon was pretty nice, and the puzzles/exploration there was unique.
@@smward87 it is if ain't the main focus it's just a soften blow to u tv lovers who are coping they can't say in the dev talk they getting a key piece from the game in a interview 😂😂😂😂
Oh what? Of all the places, the main story is the least pain and most unique play for the TV. If there's somewhere to remove, I'd say hollow zero, since 80% of the thing is TV that's has no change for each level
Doing it every week on hollow zero it was very tiring but overall, specially on story mode, I though the TV mode was fun, I know a lot of ppl complained about it but I didn't think it was to this extreme. Curious to see what they will do with it.
Same. Though as they said, they aren't removing it entirely. They're trying to find the best of both worlds which is admirable because just ripping it out would be the easiest solution.
Wonder if the devs will replace something with it, or else we're just repeating what HI3rd, Genshin & HSR has been doing : Walk around and talk to people, kill enemies, and watch cinematics.
If you'd rather a puzzle than a hack slash combat (which zzz is advertised as) then play candy crush or a puzzle game. They didn't remove tvs either it's optional in hollow zero it's just more combat focused now(like was advertised and should be the main focus since every other aspect of the game is collecting and grinding characters to use in said combat). Really don't get the minority that wants tv puzzles in every aspect of the game slowing down your progress and wasting time instead of actually playing the best aspect, and what should be the focus of this game being the combat. I mean look how much effort it takes to grind characters in the game, I'm not doing all that to not use them......
Yah, From hacknslash (being ADVERTISED) to boring TVs-Exploration (not advertised)??? Nah, I and MAJORITY OF Playerbase are eating good now. Keep crying lol!
@@choochoo3041I gotta 2nd this. The tvs is why it's so hard to get newer players into the game. Kinda hope they modify the beginning story mode as well and make it optional so I can get my friends to play.

Its so weird to say they are removing it only to find out that they changed their minds and are keeping tv for story 😭
I was a fan tbh. Sad to see it go
The guy in black looked like the actor of The Scarecrow in batman movies
Lol you mean asian Cillian Murphy

The 1.1 story was such huge improvement on the previous version of ZZZ.
