Pompey's transformation is the first real reminder since the prologue about the ethereal corruption's effects, and how much ZZZ is basically a post-apocalyptic horror setting disguised as a fun adventure story. It's really only New Eridu's societal insistence (/mass delusion) on people living "normal" lives filled with mundane tasks and pleasures that keeps everyone from walking around in a permanent fog of existential dread. Like, billions of people died and everyone is one wrong step away from falling into a monster-filled parallel dimension where being torn limb from limb by grotesque mindless terrors is actually only the second worst outcome to becoming one of the terrors yourself - but hey this coffee is really good and did you see the new Monica collectible figurine? It's amazing. The way they're able to bury these really deep psychological undercurrents under mirth, whimsy, and some truly heartwarming interpersonal moments of characters just going through life stuff. As for the gameplay stuff, so much of your journey was similar to mine. I also pulled for Seth's w-engine when I don't pull the weapon banner EVER because the other options were so much worse. Wasn't as lucky as you were though lol, I think it took me 40 pulls to get my first one. On the other hand, like you trying to get Seth's engine put me close enough to pity when Caesar showed upI went for that, too, and I *did* win the Caesar w-engine hail mary, so... I'll take it. Side note: dunno if you're still using Starlight w-engine on S11, but look at Gilded Blossom (the event engine from Camelia Golden Week) on her. The EX damage boost from its passive is a very nice spike. Did you pull Burnice or Yanagi?

I played this game since launch. At first, I grinded religiously. After I reached endgame and finished the story (as of the first week of release) I went more casually. This game is an absolute blast to play, definitely the most fun Hoyo game there is.

Poor Anby... I think Stun Agents are very important for teams with Attack agents with some sort of gimmick like Anton. Some Shiyu content also has bonuses for Stun agents whenever a Stun or Attack agent is on the limited banner.

36:42 This happened to me as well. With my Zhu Yuan and Anby around 2000 HP, and Nicole at 7HP. I don’t know how many attempts I did before I recorded the clip of me trying. But I was tweaking. my health was going down, my dodge cool down is longer, and other bad corruption effects. Took me 9+ give or take 15 attempts to complete. But the mental battle was so much more worse.

The dopplegangers are the bane of my EXISTENCE 😭 I’m an Ellen main and my main team is basically mono-ice, but they resist that so I have to use a physical/fire team…but I don’t have Nekomata or Soldier 11 or Koleda, so I have to sit slowly killing them with Corin and Caesar…I’ll admit though, the challenging fights are fun

My question is should I suck up 9months-1 year of polychrome grinding for M6 Lighter or should I just pull for new units? Do want to bring into account that I started genshin 2 years after release and to this day own half the limited characters + have been playing hsr for less than a year and have 10+ limited characters, so maybe saving for M6 Lighter at this point won't necessarily be too bad idk. Im a very indecisive person, especially since I want to show my appreciation for Lighter by getting his M6 namecard (and cinema art) but at the same time its a bummer being locked out of pulling for so long-
Def check out m6 Lighter showcases on here and see if you like the upgrade vs how he performs for you now! If you think you won’t burn out playing the same teams for a year, go for it! I don’t think I could do it, personally, haha

Just never try to get all achievements in the other two games. I’m losing my mind trying to get the snake duel ones. I’m top 0% and unable to get the achievements… yeah I think that wasn’t play tested…
I was honestly surprised how f2p "friendly" this game is, i like got the character that made me play the game in like combined of 19 hours. And that was by skipping a lot of dialoq and cutscenes and watching netflix in the background.
I installed after launch around when the free 100 pulls code expired and was upset and uninstalled. I came back with 2400 reserve battery charge and was able to S rank critical node 7 around day 45 of logging in. if for whatever reason you dont have a big issue with skipping days for the battlepass or dailies. I highly recommend simply taking a break and coming back when you have the motivation because you can actually send like 3-4 hours just grinding your levels and skills.
Honestly? The views just aren’t there. I love the game, so I keep recording it, but it’d objectively be a better business decision for me to focus on games like Genshin and HSR if I was purely making content to grow my channel.
@Chiken imo I think the biggest problem is how difficult it is to make original content regarding gatchas. You either make a guide or follow the story or clear the end game and that's it. So yeah, the big old gatchas like genshin and hsr that already have a fan base won't be affected. But it creates a really bad environment for the new (often more creative and ambitious) gatchas.

For some people, they just go for the character cause the reasoning is the funds used for
W-engines can be for new characters so more exciting
anton doesn't have the defensive utility that a lot of other dps have, even billy. but his damage can be really stupid

I was honestly surprised how f2p "friendly" this game is, i like got the character that made me play the game in like combined of 19 hours. And that was by skipping a lot of dialoq and cutscenes and watching netflix in the background.

I installed after launch around when the free 100 pulls code expired and was upset and uninstalled.
I came back with 2400 reserve battery charge and was able to S rank critical node 7 around day 45 of logging in.
if for whatever reason you dont have a big issue with skipping days for the battlepass or dailies.
I highly recommend simply taking a break and coming back when you have the motivation because you can actually send like 3-4 hours just grinding your levels and skills.
This game is so good idk why there is not more content on it :(
Honestly? The views just aren’t there. I love the game, so I keep recording it, but it’d objectively be a better business decision for me to focus on games like Genshin and HSR if I was purely making content to grow my channel.
@Chiken imo I think the biggest problem is how difficult it is to make original content regarding gatchas. You either make a guide or follow the story or clear the end game and that's it. So yeah, the big old gatchas like genshin and hsr that already have a fan base won't be affected. But it creates a really bad environment for the new (often more creative and ambitious) gatchas.
It's just sad man, just shows the devs how low the bar is :(
