the 12 o'clock is not "cut", it's part of the design which shows imperfection as a part of being perfect and in life, "Open heart" is what matters. It's the beauty of the inner outweighs the outer. Undoubtedly, this is an exquisite timepiece.

True, and you even have version where cut go just a bit under the 12, without number cut.

I have one of this on black dial. The watch is great. It would be even greater if Hamilton use AR coated glass.

Since it's a jazz watch with an open heart they should have made a saxophone cut out on the dial.
