I'm sure you're joking, but am I the only one who gets (or assumes) that the blue cursor is literally supposed to be what the audience did? Like the point is that the viewer moved the cursor and clicked on the location to answer her. I never got frustrated because I always felt like the idea was we were joining in - "we" were the cursor, so to speak.
