You can be free to customize, as long as you buy a cookie cutter high profit mild performance kit. Cmon Harley-Davidson, now's your chance for a come back. The late 20s early 30s love the dyna, sportster, vrod, bring back the muscle. The old timers wont buy baggers forever.
Please please please quit trying to phase out the sportsters. This “street” class you’ve lumped them into is gross. If you look past the performance baggers and the dyna/fxr stuff going on, you will see the upcoming wave of the next generation ride and it’s the sportster again. Choppers. Club hoppers. Performance drag bikes. Enduros. The sportster is THE most diverse platform. Upgrade it a little. Give it an 80 and 90” factory big bore kit. Maybe a 6th gear too. But quit ignoring and brushing it off to the side. Don’t believe the little guys? Look at your top 15 for the king of Kings customization battle. All sportsters. Give us more sportsters. Better sportsters. Quit treating it like the step child of the family. Show the sportster some real love. Thanks Harley-Davidson
All Harley-Davidson Motorcycle are shit. They break down if you so much as look at them. The clutch is so shit, it broke my foot while on a test ride around the block from the dealership. I'll stick with my Suzuki TU-250X with over 13,8767 miles no engine cleaning or rebuild, no major repairs, just basic maintenance with the tools it came with. and the clutch is PERFECT, smooth, clean shifting and did not even hurt my foot arch which was broken while I rode it to the doctor. Been riding my entire life, never owned a car or any four wheeled vehicle. Almost EVERYTHING is better than a modern Harley-Davidson.
Just so I can Fing comment sorry about your foot man. That sounds rough. Milk usually helps with stuff like that I hear. Those tu-250’s are a blast to ride though. I still love my sporty. Got it with 2000 miles on it and now I’m pushing just under 40,000 miles. I made it fit me. Hard touring bags from a 14 street glide. 10 inch t bars. 90cubic inch kit. It’s a fun ride too. Maybe you should give them another shot. The Harley has changed so much over the past several years. The clutch is much smoother and the techs definitely dial them in a lot smoother off the floor now.
