  • In this video I give my 500 mile review of the H&R lowering springs I installed. I would do this again on my cars in the future, it is all up to personal preference. For me the pros outweighed the cons so I would recommend them to anyone who wants better fitment. Let me know if you have any questions and also don’t forget to subscribe for more automotive content in the future. We greatly appreciate all the support! #Slammed #LoweringSprings #Fitment

    Thx for the great review. Was going to try these or Eibach but I might have to do coil overs for my awd Challenger. Thx for helping me make this decision.

    Love the wheel setup. Since it’s AWD did you have to use different lugs? If so where can I find them.

    Now that youve had these on for a while, how is the tire wear due to the camber? Is it wearing unevenly/faster than normal?

    • @apprenticeautomotive
      @apprenticeautomotive  2 года назад +1

      The wear is honestly not good, you will need an alignment asap

    I got the pro kit¿ I don’t know why they make the springs ride so rough and bad. I wish they would ride the same as stock.

    Have you launched the car ever since the install? I’m worried that the rear might rub when I launch hard.

    • @apprenticeautomotive

      I honestly haven’t launched the car yet but I’ve done WOT pulls and haven’t rubbed, also sense the springs are very stiff the car won’t squat as much.

    • @apprenticeautomotive

      The car does well and looks good too! Just need to remember to watch out for potholes. Only bad thing I’ve noticed so far is I’ll rub a little with 5 people in the car and stuff in the trunk.

    How’d you fix the camber on the rear?

    • @apprenticeautomotive
      @apprenticeautomotive  3 месяца назад

      I never fixed the camber unfortunately, I think you would need some sort of adjustable castor/camber plate. I never looked into it. The Camber helped me clear the outer lip of my car so I just left it.

    Did it make the ride less comfortable?

    • @apprenticeautomotive
      @apprenticeautomotive  3 года назад

      I wouldn’t say less comfortable, it all depends on how the roads are where you live. Honestly the roads can get pretty bad where I’m at and it still isn’t bad so I’d say no.

      What do you think about the stage 1’s? I wanna get them too. Is the ride too rough? Did it improve handling? And do you ever rub or bottom out?

    • @NoScat392
      @NoScat392 3 года назад

      @@bonkant6584 The stage 1's work well. I have 20 inch hellcat rims with 2754020 size tires and no rub at all. Car is alot stiffer so it handles alot better along with the wider stance wheels. Mine is an RT and is does bottom out slightly depending on potholes or dips. But not over standard speed bumps or anything. And i was able to get an alignment without using any caster camber adjusters.
