Hello T90, thank you for covering this mod! I'm the author of the mod 1.x versions. Happy to see a lot of people like it! There are quite a few combinations that are really fun to play with. Here are some interesting metas: - Berbers villager that sneaks into the enemy base and starts to spam free cavalry - Spanish + Berbers + Poles + Incas superman villager - Chinese + Berbers in a 4v4, all in 120-ish vils to brutally battle down all enemy tcs. - Bengali population-less villagers turned into an infinite number of flemish militia - Incas + Bulgarian free krepost rush - Hindu camels bonus damage to buildings stacking with Gurjara extra bonus damage, just a few of them casually waltzing in your town and one-hit the tc
@@mitchellbaker6528 Cuman missionary with instant conversion? Mixed in Bengali and Aztec maybe. Monks are not that often used simply because how micro heavy they are to use versus the relatively easy to spam army for the opponent.
only civs with early free army can kill persians. But even then persians are crazy cuz their tc hp and work rate bonus so that they can survive early pressure quite easily
This is a great mod! So many potential combinations. The great thing is that it's pretty fair, everyone has access to mostly everything, it's just a matter of whoever discovers the most broken combo first. Since you can't plan for specific combos because the other players may not select the civs you want, there won't be a defined meta even after many games. That goes double if all players go random civ. EDIT: I want to see warwolf + kataparuto + timurid siegecraft + celt siege bonus.
You missed Counterweights. A treb on a hill of a Saracen/Tatar/Briton alliance has 20 bonus range and 425% bonus damage with pin-point accuracy and splash damage. Celts or Japanese provide better dps but just the initial surprise of a bomb coming from almost 40 tiles away is crazy. Could you siege the enemy on islands without landing? If not, well, just land with your 600 HP/70 capacity transports.
So here's a fun strategy in a game with Bengalis, Burgundians, Celts, Hindustanis, and Persians: The Bengalis have a Unique Tech that makes villagers take 10% less population space. Multiplied by 10, this makes villagers take 0 pop space, meaning you could make theoretically infinitely many of them. The Hindustanis, meanwhile, make vills completely free to produce, as we can see in this very video. At this point, you can make an infinite number of villagers for free, which is already pretty good, but here's where it goes nuts. Add in the Persians, who have a vill creation speed bonus, and now you can make infinitely many free villagers almost near-instantly. Naturally, this would be great for economies, but now it's time for the cherry on top. Burgundians, naturally, have a technology that turns these villagers into infantry through the Flemish Revolution -- infantry that benefits from the Celts' speed bonus. Reach Imp, make thousands of villagers, pop the Revolution, and you can literally flood the map with lightning-fast infantry. You either win the game or completely fail and lose your one chance because you can't research the Revolution twice. You can, of course, add in any number of other infantry civ bonuses you want. Some good choices would include the Aztecs for attack, Burmese for attack, Japanese for attack speed, Malians for ridiculous pierce armor, Vikings for HP, and so on, but the core of the team is Bengalis, Burgundians, Celts, Hindustanis, and Persians.

It was an interesting choice by Green to not research furor celtica for a large portion of the game! Probably a good choice too since it allows rams to be good tanks against the scorpion combo. Grey also made the mistake of not researching wagenburg tactics to defend himself against the scorpions. That would have changed the entire game with those speedy houfnice. And a little disappointed we didn't see hand cannons, the +20 range would have outranged the scorps by a large margin, although LoS would be an issue As someone who's played a lot of 10x shared civ bonus games, it is a lot of fun! These mod could make many civs incredible strong (this is speculation for any map): 1. Burmese: +30 damage infantry, +60 anti archery damage calvary, monastery techs gives you gold (+450% of its cost) and bulky battle elephants (+10/+20). 2.Sarracens: (in water maps)Galleys with rapid fire, inmortal transport ships with enormous cargo; +300hp camels, +200% damage Siege Onagers and Trebs, and archers that deal +20 damage to buildings. 3. Aztecs: instant military creation, inmortal monks, +40 damage to infantry, +10 damage and range to skirmishers, +500gold at start BUT villagers will be able to collect +50resources, so you will have to do tons of manual recollections. 4. Turks: gold grinders(+250%)+200hp cav archers, super gunpowder units (+250%hp and +20 range to bombard tower cannon and galleon). 5. Gurjaras: mounted units deals +400% bonus damage (camels, siege elephants and genitours shred anything they counter), camels and elephants are trained instantly, camels and elephants have +40 melee armor and military units give food equal to 150% its cost when trained(if not, just free food). I'm having lunch. I will continue later. Edit: 6. Goths: become the true Zerg. 7. Berbers: free stable units(even the game should pay you for creating units), villagers and ships are pretty fast, castles work pretty fast and camels heal themselves a lot. 8.Burgundians: superstrong gunpowder (+250% damage), free eco and stable techs, relics give a lot of food and farms give a lot of gold. 9. Spanish: Gunpowder shoots pretty fast (+150%as), trade is rich (+250%), villagers are the BEST (+400hp, +60damage, +20/+20) and the Inquisition is BRUTAL (+500% efficiency). 10. Vikings: infantry with +200%hp since Feudal, +50 damage against calvary (+40 against camels) and berserkers with +1000% to their regen. Their warships and docks are free too. 11. Koreans: Siege Onagers with 19 range and towers with extra 20 range. Just that is Terrifying. 12. Italians: free gunpowder units, fishing ships and trade units, free dock-university techs, advancing age is free, condotieri and genovese/arbalest +10/20 armor. 13. Bengalis: monks have +30/30 armor, elephants negate bonus damage, every time they advance, 20 villagers spawn in every TC, and they do not count as pop in late game; rathan and elephants attacks +200% faster, ships heal 150hp/minute and trade units generate food as well as gold. 14. Teutons: Siege with +40 melee armor, stable and barracks units with +10 melee armor in Castle and Imperial, it would take ages to convert them, castles have +30 range. I leave it here. If anyone wants to add anything, feel free to go.
I made it to that point without fast forwarding, as I was fixing a carpet machine and had the time. Love your channel, love the content. Your a good guy, Tristan, and it makes you easy to listen to you.
The sight of the infantry makes me realize that the inclusion of the Cumans would cause all calvary to be as fast (if not faster) than Cobras (15% Imperial x10 = 150%; 100% for Castle, 50% for Feudal as well. Since other civs get bonuses as well, it can be stacked by civs with Husbandry to add an additional 10% to that 50/100/150% movement speed).
i did not fall asleep, i love the build up phase in your videos, listening to you talking with chat is nice :) have a great day T90 thank you for all your content
Fun sounding combos I thought of: Monks: Spanish, Aztecs, Byz, and Teutons Trebs: Japanese, Britons, and Tatars + Franks and Spanish for production BBTs: Teutons, Chinese, Turks, Byz, Spanish, Incas, and Burgundians to buff Janissaries for garrison. Vils: Spanish, Berbers, Bohemians, Incas (strong and fast vils, faster construction), Hindustanis, Maya, Chinese, Bengalis (free vils), or Tatars, Huns, and Vikings for insane strong eco bonuses. and the ones we want to see most: Houfnice with: Bohemians, Turks (hp and range), Ethiopians (blast radius), Spanish (fire speed), Celts (many crucial bonuses), Slavs (discount), Mongols ( move speed), Burgundians (attack), and either Portuguese for Ballistics and Feitoria or Teutons for Armor and Conversion resistance. Aging up: Malay, Italians, Byzantine, Khmer LOL Could make a SICK tower rush with Koreans.
I'd like to see a version of this where everyone gets everyone's bonus just once, but everyone gets their own bonuses a second (maybe third?) time. The spectacle is very neat, but I also want to see how it turns out with less ridiculousness, too.
Ok, so, as a Mayan player, there are 2 things that I would love to see with this mod. Mayans, Britions, Ethiopians, Saracens: Free Elite Plumed Archers with upwards of 34ish range, Super fire rate, around 200 hp, 20 pierce armour, and 20 bonus dmg to buildings. Mayans, pretty much any civ with infantry bonuses (specifically goths): Eagle Warriors with upwards of 400 hp with potential to be super speedy, have even more health, more armour etc etc. Not only that but Mayans would delay EVERYONEs expasion with all resources (treeeeeees) lasting 150% longer
37:13 The halbs were definitely stronger, than usual, not just faster. I guess bohemians gave them more bonus damage against cavalry (+25% x 10). :) Actually blue had a small party of something in the south, where yellow and green bases were. It can be seen around 1:02:00. Or maybe that was just some trade. Funny thing: at the beginning T90 said that green is favourite, then celts seemingly lost their advantage, but in the end they came out on top. It was a fun game!
I wonder how the bulgarians "Cavalry hit 33% faster" + upgrade to Elite Konnik (should than have above 300 hitpoints and above 30 damage). Probably still to slow with its regular cavalry running speed but would still be interesting to see.
I run it at 1.5-2x in general as I'm preparing to sleep. That's not a criticism as I love how people still play my childhood game for me so far beyond what I could have imagined. I wish I had the time but it's beautiful to see how it still lives so vibrantly. That said; you talk way faster in my mental meta than in real life.
Goths Infantry units are 20%/25%/30%/35% cheaper in the Dark/Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age. Infantry units have +1/+2/+3 attack bonus against standard buildings in the Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age. Villagers have +5 attack against aggressive huntables (Wild Boar, Javelina, Elephant, Rhinoceros) and carry +15 food from hunting. +10 population cap in the Imperial Age. Loom is researched instantly. Team bonus: Barracks work 20% faster. +100population Barracks work 200% faster atleast 200% cheaper units for Infantry spam ...

Re: 26:05 Like a where's Waldo in two videos now. Yes I watched the whole thing up until that point. What I think? This game mode is crazy and I can't remember enough civ bonuses to guess what would be best.
If the cataphracts could get in close, they would have melted the scorps. The trample range and damage are both x10, so you're dealing 50 damage in a 5 tile radius iirc
@@IschmarVI Yeah they needed something to distract scorpion fire. If you clear enough forest it is microable, although I wouldn't have expected that from the blue player this game
The best version currently is called 10x shared civ 1.x, which has bug fixes and very minor balance changes from the original. I believe you're using the old version in this video. I play this a lot and helped make it. 4v4 or 2v2v2v2 A2G Arena/Arena/Amazon tunnel are usually what the regulars play on this map. Forest nothing sucks usually. Diplo is playable but if you ally them from game start that's when it shares all the civ bonuses at the start. Some bonuses such as castle unique techs / Age up bonuses only apply if allied at the time.
90, BUDDY! I gather you videos for days sometimes into a tab stack in Vivaldi to keep them until I can have to watch literally from moment 1 to the next video screen pops up. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds for Vivaldi to start on a nearly brand new computer, and i rarely have less than half my RAM taken up by tabs when I start it.
Persians for War Eles insane HP with their Elite upgrade since having already massive numbers they get the most when x10 from their elite upgrade so 150x10 + all the armours and damage. Also you get the speed from Mahouts which is 30% so purely by themselves their solid. If you add in the randomness of other allies you have the potential for a Franks player I think their hp bonus might apply since it uses the term mounted units, maybe not but if so their massive base gets increased even more insanely. You can also mix in Dravidians self healing, maybe Teutons for melee armour, maybe Farimba affects them if War Eles have the cavalry flag.
yeah, the Twitch the Facebook move is looking increasingly smart in hindsight with the sketchy Twitch waters. Assuming the contract with Meta is done within a few years, Meta's got money right now but I'm a bit worried about their long-term potential. then.... RUclips, maybe? We all smell down here....
What would beat those scorpion? Trebuchets. In particular, Trebuchets with +20 (2x10) range from Tatars, Britian's Warwolf for Blast Damage + Accuracy (which the Accuracy would be 100%, but the Blast Radius itself would be the biggest outlyer like the houd-cannons in this game and their added blast radius), and Celts +250% (25%x10) Faster Fire Rate and/or Japanese 330% (33%x10) faster fire rate (330% x 250% = 3.3 x 2.5 = 8.25 = 825%... give or take) and Japanese's x40 (4x10) packing/unpacking speed would make Trebs an anti-scorpion unit all around... That is, unless Drill (500% movement speed, +50% x 10) is added to the Scorpions, in which case they may or may not be able to avoid Trebuchet blast radius. That would require some testing. The added discount of -150% (-15% x 10) for Slavic Siege Workshop units would also make Scorpions an intense trash unit, being free units that move much faster. That isn't including all of the other bonuses that can stack onto Scorps to make them from an under-used unit to godtier overall.
Between 3 blacksmith upgrades, arrowslits, chemistry, guard tower, keep, masonry, architecture, and perhaps civ specific things (byzantine structure hp, Korean increased arrows per tower), towers would be really strong imo
that game was a lot of fun. As someone who's a soccer fanatic and avid cleat purchaser I get a kick out of your T90 Lasers story. Used to have a pair myself.
Scorpions against a moving target looks like CIWS fire (the 4500 rounds per minute air defence machine guns that shoot artillery shells out of the sky)
Trample damage does not increase with conservative research, but the range does increase, and it would affect each cataphract. Much like the cleave for slavs, one unit is cool but not devastating, lots of units dealing cleave kills an army, once the front line hits each other.
The best unit I remember seeing in these crazy games was speedy Organ guns on a T90 YT upload earlier this year, It was amazing. This scoprion is pretty sick but everyone getting it takes away from the awesomeness.

Edit:
Thanks for the Cast! Didnt fall asleep or fastforwarded at 26:10 so i guess it was interesting. I believe Green or yellow might win.
Cumans also get 10 extra TCs in the Feudal age.
I need so much more of this, what a wild concept
The laugh in the beginning already hooked me for this one
😂
i know hahaha!
ikr!
Mongol drill would be hilarious mixed with the power of 10X siege
around 25 min into the vid the stacking of bonuses made this game so intriguing and different. the scorpions we're awesome to watch.
i did not fall asleep, i love the build up phase in your videos, listening to you talking with chat is nice :) have a great day T90 thank you for all your content
Instead of inviting blue to community games, someone should just offer him a copy of Simcity.
Mayan Hul'che Javilineers+Vietnam imp skirm would be REALLY funny tbh
Fun sounding combos I thought of:
Monks: Spanish, Aztecs, Byz, and Teutons
Trebs: Japanese, Britons, and Tatars + Franks and Spanish for production
BBTs: Teutons, Chinese, Turks, Byz, Spanish, Incas, and Burgundians to buff Janissaries for garrison.
Vils: Spanish, Berbers, Bohemians, Incas (strong and fast vils, faster construction), Hindustanis, Maya, Chinese, Bengalis (free vils), or Tatars, Huns, and Vikings for insane strong eco bonuses.
and the ones we want to see most:
Houfnice with: Bohemians, Turks (hp and range), Ethiopians (blast radius), Spanish (fire speed), Celts (many crucial bonuses), Slavs (discount), Mongols ( move speed), Burgundians (attack), and either Portuguese for Ballistics and Feitoria or Teutons for Armor and Conversion resistance.
Aging up: Malay, Italians, Byzantine, Khmer LOL Could make a SICK tower rush with Koreans.
I need more of this kind of videos
This felt like a WWII battlefield. Machine guns, artillery, assault rifles and all. Can't wait for the next one, this is hilarious!
I'd like to see a version of this where everyone gets everyone's bonus just once, but everyone gets their own bonuses a second (maybe third?) time. The spectacle is very neat, but I also want to see how it turns out with less ridiculousness, too.
Only if the civ bonuses stack.
So is Red and Blue both choose Chinese, then Green gets x2 Chinese bonuses.
Ethiopian scorpions with that extra blast radius would be CREAMY in this game mode!
they also get archer attack speed which feels pretty dangerous
@@gildeddrake1479 only if paired with briton range because they don't have the hp to close the distance
British and japanese combined can murder all i think. Those trebuchets would have aoe and shoot super fast
That super fast infantry was super amazing :D
At ~27:00 I think green will win.
Ha! Called it :)
Im loving this! Gon bring this in to our groups wacky games
Been watching your RUclips videos for over a year now! Not getting bored!
The break dancing trade carts were my favorite, bless their hearts
loving these community videos
37:13 The halbs were definitely stronger, than usual, not just faster. I guess bohemians gave them more bonus damage against cavalry (+25% x 10). :)
Actually blue had a small party of something in the south, where yellow and green bases were. It can be seen around 1:02:00. Or maybe that was just some trade.
Funny thing: at the beginning T90 said that green is favourite, then celts seemingly lost their advantage, but in the end they came out on top. It was a fun game!
The goth infantry building damage also stacks with the discount, basically free siege infantry
I just discovered your vids of this mod and I love it. I have to watch at 2x speed as I don’t have time to watch the real time… still epic to watch
Japanese 10x yasama? briton 10x warwolf? I had my money on purple, really fun game to watch either way though!
I wonder how the bulgarians "Cavalry hit 33% faster" + upgrade to Elite Konnik (should than have above 300 hitpoints and above 30 damage). Probably still to slow with its regular cavalry running speed but would still be interesting to see.
Man i always love these type of games. Just true chaos and wild strats(and then a blue strat).
Goths
Infantry units are 20%/25%/30%/35% cheaper in the Dark/Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age.
+100population
Barracks work 200% faster
atleast 200% cheaper units for Infantry spam
...
With that speedy infantry only one thing was missing: Goths
Spectacular game. Haven't actually watched any of your videos in a little while, but this was just the thing to get me hooked again. Cant wait for the next one
That was fun to watch. Scorpions rate of fire was hilarious.
Re: 26:05
Like a where's Waldo in two videos now. Yes I watched the whole thing up until that point.
What I think? This game mode is crazy and I can't remember enough civ bonuses to guess what would be best.
T90 we need a community league of this 🤣
Find the best civ bonus combos then have a 3v3 locked teams for the ultimate alliance
14:55 Family? You expecting a child? :O
I think it would be great if you do more of these x10 civ bonuses games T90! I love them :)
If the cataphracts could get in close, they would have melted the scorps. The trample range and damage are both x10, so you're dealing 50 damage in a 5 tile radius iirc
cataphracts absolutely need cumans (for the extra speed) and probably franks (for the extra health) to work, or they will die too quickly
@@IschmarVI Yeah they needed something to distract scorpion fire. If you clear enough forest it is microable, although I wouldn't have expected that from the blue player this game
i been playing this mod for years and can't believe you are making a video about this mod!
This is AWESOME!!!
I want to see Goths with everybody +100 pop in Imperial Age
And free Infantry for everyone, with super fast barracks, would be an insane meatgrinder
Lithuanian + Celt speed bonus better be used
The best version currently is called 10x shared civ 1.x, which has bug fixes and very minor balance changes from the original.
This was a "Welcome to the trenches" type of fighting
Goths would be absolutely ridiculous in this mode. +100 pop, 1200% increase in barracks work speed, free infantry units
12:00 Texas Instruments 90 calculator 😂
Finnaly after so long, I don't care the mods, if I see forest nothing, I like the video.
Man i was hoping blue would come in at the last minute with some unexpected invincible units haha
Okay: Britons (+200% archery range work speed, + archer range) and Vietnamese (+200% archery range unit HP) + Mayans (foot archers free at feudal, start giving wood and gold after castle) + Ethiopians (+180% archer attack rate) to create god tier archers. Like, stupid tough + stupid cheap + near instant creation + insane damage output.
Forest Nothing is always satisfying to watch.
Also shows how well of a Caster T90 Not a Shoe Name is!
So this is my first time hearing the explanation behind the T90 name. This whole time, I always thought it was a reference to the boots!
Scorpions against a moving target looks like CIWS fire (the 4500 rounds per minute air defence machine guns that shoot artillery shells out of the sky)
Man, this game uploaded without the commentary would make for great clickity clackity ASMR lol
Thanks for this game, T90. It's an absolute gem.
Trample damage does not increase with conservative research, but the range does increase, and it would affect each cataphract. Much like the cleave for slavs, one unit is cool but not devastating, lots of units dealing cleave kills an army, once the front line hits each other.
Super fun, would love to see more of this!!!
- The super speed halberdiers spooked me.
Best. Game Mode. EVERRRR. No way to sleep through this one 😂
Legend has it that Blue still holds the record for the best K/D ratio T90 has ever seen in forest nothing
The best unit I remember seeing in these crazy games was speedy Organ guns on a T90 YT upload earlier this year, It was amazing.
This scoprion is pretty sick but everyone getting it takes away from the awesomeness.
I would LOVE to see a version of this, but with only infantry bonuses. Especially with japanese, celts and goths amplified bonuses
