NL geography is very important for understanding international business trade and economy. All big companies have people with strong understanding of geography to help them look out for who you want to sell/trade with.
Geography is aight. I took an AP Human Geography class in high school that was awesome. It was hard as hell, but you learned a lot about how countries develop, culture, how languages develop, and stuff like that.

As a Turkish citizen, i can tell, Asian-European border thing to me sounds more ridiculous and funny than it probably sounds to you NL. Yes, geographically Asian-European border is in northwest Turkey. Think it is called the Turkish Straits. Istanbul bosphorus in the north side, a sea in the middle and another kind of canal southwest part of it. So yeah there is a body of water there :). As a result you can often hear people in Istanbul saying something like: "I live in European side" or "Anatolian (Asian) side" when giving directions. It is kind of cool and all but what makes it kind of funny for me is: It is an age old joke here that still goes on :). They start to feed you this information starting from first grade. "Our country is located between Europe and Asia, so strategically we kick ass, our country is the best, no worries." Of course not exactly with these words and i can understand the importance, but still... to make you feel more patriotic i guess. I mean, we have a record number of imprisoned journalists for example and other bullshit i won't bother to rant about but we control the Europe-Asia border so... who cares. At least that's a sign that, still, some people are fighting to change this.
NL, Stay Woke means stay aware of the situation. It normally use in legitimately serious situation. For example, the Orlando Shooting, people have been posting advice on how to go to pride and be safe, and the victims, and normally and the post with stay woke.
