    Yyyyeeessss efficiency!! I struggle with that, too. It might be related to my fixation on trying not to be destructive in the creating process (sooo many layers) but maybe that's a mental hangup and unrelated to efficiency at all. Has efficiency meant meaning to allow for more destructive techniques, or have you been able to remain non-destructive?

      For me it's been a lot of learning more techniques to be non-destructive while still making the changes I want. Backup layers that I copy and turn off have been a lifesaver when I try something and it doesn't work out. It also encourages me to play around and discover without risk. The downside is even more layers, but I'll take that.
      I've also gotten a lot better at catching myself doing things that don't actually matter and moving on.
