      As I said in the video, sometimes the art for the day is only an image post on Instagam. With the work I have I don't have time to make new RUclips videos, even Shorts, every day. Though I guess I should start posting the pictures over in the community tab.

    Yyyyeeessss efficiency!! I struggle with that, too. It might be related to my fixation on trying not to be destructive in the creating process (sooo many layers) but maybe that's a mental hangup and unrelated to efficiency at all. Has efficiency meant meaning to allow for more destructive techniques, or have you been able to remain non-destructive?

    • @the-good-chad
      @the-good-chad 3 месяца назад

      For me it's been a lot of learning more techniques to be non-destructive while still making the changes I want. Backup layers that I copy and turn off have been a lifesaver when I try something and it doesn't work out. It also encourages me to play around and discover without risk. The downside is even more layers, but I'll take that. I've also gotten a lot better at catching myself doing things that don't actually matter and moving on.

      @@the-good-chad the way young artists can make money is by greedy older dudes like you retiring or sharing clients instead of hogging all the work. That's some actual good advice. But hey, oh no, you get to just reinvest the money you made back when there was 0 competition to continue building your client base and misleading young artists with "advice". Wow. You really don't know me at all. I have no idea where all of that is coming from. I have had clients, but not even close to an amount where I could somehow be hoarding them from others. I'm also not sure why you think I'm anywhere close to retirement. I'm not even half way through my 30s and I am certainly not rich. Just... what? You seem to have a lot of animosity toward a very specific narrative. I am not that narrative. Like, at all. It's very bizarre to rattle all this random stuff off to a stranger on the internet just trying to get people to value themselves.

    I remember my first ever experience with a mosh pit. My husband (boyfriend at the time) invited me to a show at a hole in the wall venue. I was kinda nervous about it, as I’d never been to any kind of concert like this. During the opening band, an asshole kid with a spiky/bulky backpack started off by slamming and rag-dolling into people in the pit. I initially didn’t see him since I had my back turned to the pit and was facing the stage. He eventually made his way around to me and hurt me when he dropped himself on my side and bent my wrist the wrong way. I instinctively shoved him away and he fell to floor, hard. To my surprise, knocking him on his ass pleased several people because this kid was being a nuisance for others trying to have a good time. Over the course of the evening, he came back and kept doing this, repeatedly got thrown out of the pit and returned, and got beat up by two of the most amazing pair of girls I saw that night moshing (I later found out the girls were venue regulars that came for almost every show and were ALWAYS in the mosh pit). The kid was eventually kicked out of the venue by staff. As the night progressed, I became more comfortable being so close to the pit as I realized that people were there to have fun. If you didn’t want to be in there, you didn’t have to, and those moshing didn’t tolerate others that were there to hurt people or start fights. I was pleasantly surprised that there were even people who voluntarily became the wall of the pit, keeping the crowd separate and protecting those nearby that didn’t want to participate. And in the event some fell or did get hurt? They stopped to help them. Saw it first hand when a girl fell to the floor against the stage with the wind knocked out of her. We asked her if she was okay, and after a moment, she just raised her arms and we picked up off the ground. She said thanks and went right back into the pit! 😂 I think that’s the moment when I became completely okay with it. Which was good, because the headliner was gonna be the most intense part of the show since it was the reason my husband was there. I don’t remember who the first two bands were, but the second to last was Dead Star Assembly. The headliner was Powerman 5000. 10/10 experience, would go again. If you made it this far, thanks for reading. I know this was a lot of words to say “You’re right, I agree!” 😂
