Very beautiful rolling terrain! It’s so quiet and tranquil now that it’s almost hard to imagine the small industry that had taken place back then. Most of the old train tracks here in Northern New York were converted to bicycling, walking paths and snowmobiling after the big logging industry left. Thank you for sharing😊
Great way to spend a day Elle! The views are stunning and I always enjoy hearing you tell the history of these old places. Considering that mining ended fairly recently there nature seems to be taking over fairly quickly. Funny how newer abandoned buildings can seem ugly but older ruins have a rugged beauty. The rushing waterfalls and the texture of the landscape it is the things artists like. Wales looks great but it doesn't seem to be very populated; it must be the weather.

Wow what a glorious place especially the start of the film where you see the sheep just come to view on the right hand side that’s a painting in the making such a magic magical place . definitely food for the soul. It’s amazing how nature captivates us and helps us to reflect on our true nature. 🦁💜🙏
