    this is great to know a traditional dish on Passover! I find it quite similar to fish cake in some countries in Asia like Vietnam, Thailand and Korea. Very delicious. Thank you for the tutorial video

    My Ukranian grandmother made gefilte fish this way but there is absolutely no need to poach the balls for so long, 20 minutes is enough, fish doesn't need to be cooked forever and it's great to add some of the broth and let it turn to jelly in the fridge, delicious

    Uhhhhgg my grandma made this when I was younger (I am Jewish). I was forced to eat it around yom Kippur and I hated it. She's in heaven now and I eat it when my mom makes it. RIP grandma
