The canon P is also still on my wish list. 😍 Such a great camera also the jupiter lenses are so great. Really good photos you have made with the camera!
Great video, and nice pictures. I have a Canon P and a CANON 7 both in super mint condition. For lenses I have a Canon 50mm f1.4, and a Canon 35mm f2. I think that is an ideal combo. I hope to get a Canon 50 f0.95.
Great video dude! I've been using the Canon P for my film photography videos and I absolutely LOVE it! I would honestly say save the money and get a Canon P instead of a Leica. You could get lenses, lots of film, chemicals, and a scanner with the money you save! :)
@@FramesPerSecond I know right. It need to go out more :D. got the canon ltm 50 1.8 with it and a kek light meter. Ill have to make my photography channel at one day to show it off too.
Dope I just got mine from shueido_camera (that’s his ig) today it’s a turquoise blue hammer tone if you wanted to check it out. Still need to get a lens for it thing definitely looking for a 35 either voigtlander or an original canon 35 at f2
I don’t get why you comment on a video when it seems you didn’t watch it or pay attention. My video isn’t about how the camera looks. It’s about a significantly cheaper but still good quality rangefinder that can take good quality but cheaper Leica, Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses. I also have a Canon 7 and like the P better.
@@FramesPerSecond I watched. You said you were getting a 7s and I comment that the 7s is much better. Everyone likes the P because it looks like a Leica. It's the elephant in the room when you watch P videos. I wasn't trying to dis you at all. You have the p and still have the desire for the 7s, so.... I think you need to be less sensitive
FED 2’s viewfinder is too shallow and dim for my tastes. FED 5C’s viewfinder is alright but the camera itself is massive compared even to the Canon 7 or Canon P. And it really needs a soft release button because the shutter button on the body is inconvenient

Thanks, appreciate it!

I too love my Canon P, it's being CLA'd and will love it even more. Thanks for the video!
It’s a great camera!
where are you getting it CLA'd and how much does it cost?

Love the sailor shirt
Love the video! Thanks for bringing more exposure to the Canon P.
Couldn't agree more- love my Canon P! Nice video 👍
Thanks!
Man that Soviet Jupiter 50mm is extremely sharp!!🔥👍
Yeah they can be, but depends how good my eyes are on the day😅

Yeah, and you can get old Leica lenses for the Canon P too!
@@FramesPerSecond I just got one actually! I’m probably going to do a video about it soon
Love the front lighting on @6:45 ☺️
The exact reason I picked up the canon p. However I did buy it busted with a broken canon 7. So I have a Frankenstein canon p7 :).
One of a kind

Actually I found that the Leica iii cameras were a little less expensive than the Canon rangefinders
The Canon rangefinders definitely jumped up in price end of last year but I got a Canon P and Canon 7 for $200 AUD each.
Did you get your voigtlander yet?
Came in on Wednesday. Had some lens separation that had to be cleaned and reglued. Keen to use it.

@@Hooligans-N-Frames yeah, 35 is where it’s at👌
I think the 7s is much better camera, even if it doesn't "look like a Leica"

@@FramesPerSecond And I have bit cameras and live the both, so just giving my opinion
I agree the 7 is the better value all things considered
Or a FED2.
They can be hit or miss but when you find a good one it’s great👌

Bro shut up, you finna make the price skyrocket
Lol, as if I get enough views to do that😜
Though if it does go up I might sell mine and keep the Canon 7😉
I can’t afford a Canon P either
The secret is out and the prices for these Canon LTM rangefinders are going to go up!
