It's funny, because had he never revealed the face behind the mask back in 2001/2 (whenever it was), if this guy bumped into you in the super-market and you asked what he did for a living and he told you that he was the vocalist in Slipknot, you'd think he was winding you up. I - like many other people - I'm sure are taken aback by how calm, grounded, humble, self-aware, emotionally intelligent, communicative and open he is - everything you think he wouldn't be, and a far cry from the place he came from, which in my opinion is the true genius and fascination that is Corey Taylor.

After the last Slipknot album and Taylor's 2 solo efforts no one really cares what he has to say anymore. I'm in my late 30's and have been a huge fan for over 2 decades. So it sucks to see them all evolve into something so far from what they could have been.

Slipknot is one of my fave bands & Stone Sour (like some of Corey's own stuff too) but think, like someone else has said, it's time to give it up now with Slipknot. Sometimes a band can go on too long & the songs are just churned out & aren't very good anymore. Love Corey & his voice & can listen to him talking all day, he's so interesting to listen to & funny. He's one of the best growlers around too! Lovely guy.😘🤘🏻

Don't mind Corey or the bands he's in, he talks a lot of bollocks a lot of the time but sometimes it's good to hear him talk with a bit of genuine humility, it's in there somewhere. I'm glad he has blown the lid on conspiracy theories etc and said belief is not fact... Well, I wonder how all the God botherers feel about that.... At last some sense, even if it was accidental

I love a good conspiracy theory....
Clearly some of the theories kicking about are ridiculous but to think that the 'truth' that is presented to us on a daily basis through mainstream media is the truth is blinkered to say the least. Similarly as my original point suggested that history that's being taught throughout the world every day is tainted by lies and bias and also undoubtedly pure fiction that has been jotted down over the centuries and coloured to suit the cause of whoever may have passed on the tale, ie the fact that God exists. I'm not bothered if someone believing in this religion stuff gets them through the day and a more content human being but it certainly has created a huge amount of division, discourse and turmoil across the planet.
Also what can be dangerous is a singer in a massively popular band that has many impressionable kids hanging on their every word talking a lot of shite...that's not exclusive to Corey Taylor though.
the people completely discrediting conspiracy theorys or anything like that are just as bad as the conspiracy theorists
except alot of their beliefs are based on facts, unlike corey the baaaaaa sheep
@@MetalDeathHead Although I was having dig at Corey I get what he said about the days when facts were facts, but in my mind, those days were long ago when we were less likely to find an alternative truth, I'm not sure if he means that or not.
We definitely questioned stuff that was being said and done but more often than not you had to suck it up and get on with it as the alternative facts were minority views at best that were almost impossible to reference to gain any traction in a conversation or argument.
