a good ditch is off the 5 fwy in santa fe springs (the new swamplands) across the street is the swamp meet no one can see you from the freeway city or county workers only work 9 to 5 on weekdays this spot is not accessable via work truck so they rarely go down there in the bigger ditch connected to this ditch also called the coyote creek about a mile away is an old skate spot off rosecrans with bank along the bike trail but if you build shit in the coyote creek they will eventually destroy it in the main ditch but theres a few side ditches on the way to seal beach like the fullerton ditch anyway i seen a few spots took down in the cotoe creek off centralia another old bank spot in old videos use to be called rock walls i think its in old powell or hstreet video and not far from there going more towards seal beach off katella in between the coyote creek and el dorado park on the left is a skateable ditch not far from there where the 405 meets the 605 and 22 is a bunch of ditches somewhere in there was a spot called the anarchy zone it was in an old issue of power edge skate magazine its still there as far as i know

Anytime you are cutting concrete, wet the area, or use a spray bottle of water to keep the dust down so you are not breathing in the silica dust. If you have access to electric, a vac can also be useful.

@Zack Dowdy I can't wait to have property to build my own stuff as well. After my experimenting I still kinda want both wood and concrete. I like them both for different reasons. But with wood it's worth it to get skatelite or gatorskin. Concrete I think just feels better/faster. And lasts forever. Just more work up front

    Couple tips brother!
    1) you can cut the caulk tubes with the caulk gun! There’s a little hole on the handle stick the top in there and pull the trigger!
    2) you can cut angle iron with a grinder super easy
    3) make a skate spot somewhere low key. Seems like you keep choosing high traffic areas to build spots.
That being said it’s a bummer this happened man. Seems like you’re trying to do a good thing and the people don’t want it. Keep up the good work !!

Cover curing concrete with wet burlap to slow the reaction and prevent cracking. Watering the concrete directly isn't a great idea on sloped surfaces. Try some 4:1 sand to concrete, mix it dry so you can pack it into a ball. You can form and tool it easily and coat it with concrete for strength

bro you can"t build a permanent structure on a place that is not you property or at least not in such an open area , maybe also this road might be used for emergency or any kind of municipal service, would be smarter to find a kind of hidden place like the backyard of an abandonned building and build stuffs next to the corners and wall instead of the middle of the road

A skater getting caught destroying something like that is crazy. Skateboarders know skateboarders and word would get out about you. Hat is worthy of some people beating/ jumping someone over, at least vibe out of skateparks. You would have to be looking over your shoulder every skate park or spot you go to.
