Hi Nicole, your wrap dress looks nice. I'm sure it will be lovely one it is fully finished. I always find wrap dress a bit awkward to fit, but as Laura mentioned about using a slip, that is a good idea and you could make your own using a basic Aline skirt pattern as the bases. Hope you are feeling much better soon and manage to get to the show. Enjoy your week 🙂

Alas, I didn't make it to the show, but I have done some online fabric shopping to make up for it. I did at least manage to use the time stuck at home to finish the Adeline dress, and I love it!

Hi. Regarding the wrap dress and the situation about wearing it, I have thought of a possible solution. You could wear a full slip under it so that if the dress was a bit loose the slip would show but would also keep your modesty intact. Also it would be another layer to keep you warm in the winter😘

@LauraMartini-gb3nl Love this suggestion and I'm definitely all about layering for warmth...and modesty saving! I think I did have a slip somewhere, but I'm not sure if it survived the wardrobe cull when I moved last year, so I'll have to have a rummage and see if I kept it or not 😊

@@LetKnitBeSew ok that’s good. If you have got rid of it then Matalan or M&S do them or even possibly a charity shop. Keep us posted as to how you get on and I hope you feel better soon😘
