The reality is the Seahawks were engaged in a tough battle against a good Carolina team playing at home. The Seahawks won this game and finished the season winning 9 of 10 and went to the Super Bowl. Carolina vs. Seattle 2012-15 Were the most FUN HARD HITTING COMPETITIVE GAMES I can't put it in the Steelers and Ravens tier but during those 4 seasons it was 2nd BEST. And I'm a Carolina(Home State SC) fan... Also Steelers(Since 1990) fan .... Even tho Carolina lost them games against them in 2012 to 2014... they were great to watch It always came down in the clutch.
Watching that dropped pass just reiterates how Tharold Simon was one of the biggest disappointments on this roster, I know he was a 5th round pick, but man he didn't live up to the expectations of a starting DB with all of his physical traits (Brady torching him in the Superbowl is permanently ingrained in my mind). With that said, I will always appreciate this era of Seahawks football under Pete, the LOB era was something to behold and I miss watching them be a true SB contending team. It also goes without saying that I'm pretty stoked for Mike Macdonald (I know it's early and the jury is out on what will entail). I can't stand how much the Seahawks' defense has regressed the past 5+ years, especially against defending the run. Here's to hoping MacDonald and his coaching staff will be fruitful and will turn this team back into a real contender. Thanks for uploading this!
