Can he fix one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL! hope he can make our Defense #1 in points allowed because we still can't block on offense consistent enough to be a contender. Well be fighting for last place in the division with the cardinals till we fix the Oline problem

@@mranderson2278 To be fair the O line was hurt all year long last season. Thats why they beefed up the line this year with signings and draft picks. When you go out and a sign a 41 year old Jason Peters last season it shows you had no depth but that changed this season.

A little shallow in the analysis, but pretty accurate. The big question will be if Abe Lucas can stay on the field and Charles Cross can take a step forward. The interior O-line is almost certainly improved, the D-line you mentioned has been massively improved. The linebacker and safety groups are quality -tackling- players no on knows (and the exact kind of players MacDonald turned into superstars on the Ravens). If the O-line can turn into a top half unit, I think you're right that this becomes a top-10 offense... and I'm almost certain at this point that it will be a top 5 defense (at least in the back half of the season). It is depth that makes or breaks teams, and that's why the tackle position is the scariest for this team... of course, it's why the 9ers should be terrified.

If the Seahawks can and can be a contender, they will have to beat good teams in order to play up to the competition. Which means, They can’t look forward from powerful teams. Especially the 49ers. They had a rivalry for so long against them but, the Seahawks have to play up to being competitive and winning a playoff game with geno smith.

Hell yeah I'll upvote for Seahawks content!!! I think I can honestly say this is the most excited I've ever been for the upcoming 'Hawks season in my entire lifetime of fandom (born in '92). I'm feeling a very special season coming on!!

The most important change is that we will have structure and accountability... Pete was great, but he got too old and laid back and didn't want to discipline players, the result was the sloppiest play we've ever seen from the team under his coaching the last 2 years. The last year was a complete joke, offensive penalties like crazy, a defense that didn't adhere to their assignments, many of the notable players constantly making business decisions and avoiding tackling.

no they dont , cross is good , and lucas is a beast only problem with him is hopefully he recovers good from the injury , and we added depth to tackles so we are good there , laken tomlinson is pretty decent so not bad at left guard, haynes is gonna be a monster and is gonna be the right guard . Olu Oluwatimi is gonna be the center and he is very under rated and will only improve. so yea this oline will be pretty good , you gotta stop living in the past
Everyone always says we stayed the same. Geno was out for multiple games. Out stud corner was hurt most of the season we had a lot of key pieces hurt last year and still hot 9-8 I think the year earlier we would have been lucky to scrape up 5 wins if we had the issues we had last year

Dude I love your videos and love your channel but I'm a broncos fan anyway I can get a video on denver you never really talk about them but if you look at em they have a good story to cover right now we haven't made the playoffs in 9 years we have new qb in rookie bo nix we are rematching russell week 2 and sean goes back to new Orleans week 7 we have a great o line a receiver coming off 10 touchdowns a 6'5 receiver coming back of 2 years from injury (Tim patrick)

@@wayneswrld8824 I hear you bro. He's the one player I was most excited to fleece...I mean get...in that trade. And I was disappointed that Pete didn't utilize him more. The man is a BAMF with the ball and needs to be fed. The new staff has signed him a multi-year deal, while getting rid of most of our other TEs, so hopefully that's a sign he's going to get some quality work coming up soon.
We will go to the playoffs this season, and win the superbowl next year. If i could place a bet now i would. The hires and the last 3 drafts will pay dividends and put everyone on notice.

Just saw a tiktok where the hawks were ranked the 9th worst team in the nfl 🤦🏻♂️😂. Nobody realizes how much that defense was on the field last year and on the flip side how little the offense was. It can only get better 🤞
Every seahawk season begins with 2-0 against the niners. Then 6-0 against the west
RG3 is a clown. "LOB type defense, very multiple" - the LOB was a lot of things but not multiple. We ran cover 3 all day every day. Its been well documented that everybody knew what we were doing, but A we did it to perfection and B our guys were just better than their opponents plain and simple.

They were not just lacking on the offensive line. Geno is a average QB but they were asking him to carry the team and he isn't that guy and because they ( Seahawks ) refused to run The ball. The Seahawks were having success at running with an average of 4.1 ypc when they did run. Sure not the best but thats where you want to be 4 YPC or better the issue was the carries per game which they were ranked 31st out of 32 teams. Now add in making Geno the main cog and things just played like you expect.... Very average offense with a poor defense and that gets you sitting at home during the playoffs.
The offensive line is one of the worst in the NFL and that's where the entire problem is. Cant convert 3rd downs. The defense is on the field more than the offense
@@mranderson2278 3rd down on both sides of the ball has been terrible for a few years. They have to convert on offense and get off the field on defense. 3rd down conversion rate on both sides of the ball might be one of the most important metrics in football, imo. Hopefully, that is something that improves this season.

One of the most pressured QBs (bad o-line), took one of the lowest numbers of sacks *and the sacks he did take were rarely his fault.* Super high on big-time throws and completion percentage. His one downside was turnover-worthy plays and those came under pressure when trying to hero the team out of a loss. An improved o-line solves that whole problem. So, by the numbers, Geno has been *EXCELLENT* since Canales left (despite a bad stretch *not* ignoring it). Canales is a good QB coach for sure, but QBs are human beings who learn and change not objects that react to stimulus.

Mike Macdonald has a lot of experience when it comes to developing line backers/line backer coaches. Grubb’s specialty is O-Line, I think they’re gonna be okay in those areas. Maybe not right away, but in the second half of the season I think they’ll be pretty good.
Last year injuries decimated the line. Laken is proven. Haynes is a beast. If healthy they easily surpass last year's line, especially if Lucas is healthy. If he isn't George Fant is highly capable. We got destroyed on thd ground last year, and the linebackers have good run grades per PFF, and even better pass coverage grades. And they are quick. Tough schedule but 10-7 Wild Card
@@williamcooke6056 personally I don’t believe in schedule strength before the season starts. There are so many things that could happen between now and the start of the season and even within the season that can change the perception of the schedule.
