My dad grew up watching and collecting transformers back then, my dad had the original soundwave figure, my dad gave away his collection to his little cousin back when he was 15 so he never passed down his transformers to me

@@Computerguy81 my dad grew up watching the original transformers show and had a lot of transformers like soundwave, devistator, and omega supreme and way more, I started a collection of my own so I only own about 30 transformers a few being the rescue bots, and I have some from 1984 - 2010 which I have g2 Optimus thinking it was g1 but I was wrong, I g1 gears, a cybertron (unicron trilogy) mudflap, a animated slug/slag, a studio series 86 sludge and starscream and more

I have a toy color G1 Soundwave. My parents found it and gave it to me. Such a fun toy.

The G1 Soundwave did indeed shoot the missiles from the canon. I had this toy as a kid and spent many hours shooting Autobot scum!

I feel the older re-issues G1 soundwave and blaster were better in terms of deco and quality. This release seems cheap especially plastic quality. It is still a good option to pick up if you didn't have the older reissue ones... Great review nevertheless.

Hi. Great review about G1 Soundwave. Just want to ask: the cassette tape of the latest G1-- will it fit into the Soundwave Earthrise/Voyager cassette player chest?

Thank you! No, unfortunately the G1 cassettes are a bit larger than the siege/earthrise ones so they're not cross-compatible

I have about 40 of the sealed in box Walmart.Reissue that I have been saving for investment,I hope it doesn't mess with the value of them,I believe it shudnt,I hope because the Walmart reissue has die cast,while this 40th does not,I hope I'm wrong, if not it's on me,the market has been amazing with my reissues have tripled in value after retsil,I hope this 40th is a step down in quality
