My OG Soundwave is long gone. I can see myself picking this one up.
I was born in 2000, i never had any of the original toys. I just had the armada style toys, and the movie toys. My dad got us the box sets of the transformers the cartoon on DVD amd we would watch them together constantly. Optimus Prime and Soundwave were my absolute favorite when i was 7, 8, 9 years old. I love seeing these molds released in cartoon colors and prints. They remind me of the time i shared with my father.

@@TheReviewSpot nice to know I'm not the only one who deals with this. Long story short I was at Walmart when I saw this guy have two boxes of all soundwaves. He was also talking to an employee making me think did he pay the employee to get it for him or what?🤦🫤

I find it odd...and bad for you Spot, these "Exclusives". Because people hav hard time getting them. Particularly in Canada...yet I have NO problem whatsover by getting them here in Europe (Spain). In fact, when McFarlane´s Parallax was released I was asking my mother to get it for me in Puerto Rico...just to find it easily here. So much that, tomorrow, I´ll be getting Captain Atom that´s a Gold Label and, by now, I´m sure hard to find in America.
At least soundwave face looks like his g1 face now😊
My local Walmart has 12 of these Soundwaves sitting on the shelf for weeks now. I am hoping they will eventually go on clearance. That $69.96 price is too high for me

Got the G1 Soundwave toys r Us exclusive back in 2007 for 29.97. Which includes Lazerbeak and Ravage.
I mostly collect 3rd party Transformers. Most mainline TF isn't worth the price
