The watermark is there for a reason. Don’t steal people’s content. It’s as easy as that.

Do you mind if I ask, did you speak to a lawyer who told you that you don’t need to ask for permission? I’m only asking because I want to believe you but why does every legal website I check say that giving credit on social media without asking for permission won’t protect you against copyright infringement. Am I misunderstanding something?

That’s a great question, I didn’t consult a lawyer, instead my advice comes from my 3 year experience building theme pages over 1.5M followers and networking with the biggest page owners in the space.
To be fully transparent with you I started at 17 I didn’t even wonder whether I could post it or not, I just went ahead and did it. That’s genuinely why a lot of people aren’t “making it online”. They’re waiting to make sure everything is perfect and good to go and waste time on small things like this. Instead, get going and get good👍🏼

It won’t protect you. Best practice is to not repost others’ stuff without explicit permission/license to do so
