most people that defend motorcycles have one, while most people that defend sport cars dont even have a 200hp car, if you like speed in cuarter mile, emotions and risk, go for a motorcycle if you want to go fast on a track and being save, go for a super kart, or a formula 4 that are a lot faster that a lambo, super cars are just for saying "im rich dude" i cant belive people waste their time into cars that are only for 0,001% and can be killed on a track by a 250cc 2t kart

People buy supercars because they can afford it. Not everybody buys a super car to drive fast I have 2 weekend cars in my garage not super cars not that rich but I go In there every afernoon and look at them clean them weekly I barley take them out but I'm just a car lover I can sit there for hours tinkering with them and if I could afford super cars would defenently have you you just don't understand that side of it . I don't get how people can spend 8k on a push bike but they do that's there passion.
I like how no one realized that there were 2 R6-R's, 2 R1's, and 1 GSX-R1000 not 4 R1's. And yes everyone Lambo's are bad ass but even the Twin Turbo ones are still trying hard to keep up with a decently tuned litre bike. If you want a good sounding bike listen to the Aprilia RSV4 with Austin Racing Exhaust
or any exhaust on the rsv4 for that matter.

my buddy has an r1. the bike is insane for the light weight it is
i couldn't be less impressed... first of all, why an R1 in downtown london... got no use for that in a tight city center, second, why rev it to the limiter? it takes no skill whatsoever, if those bike were pumping out some exhaust flames it would be better but still... if you really wanna impress someone on an R1, you'll need some skills, i'm talking dropping elbows and shit. that would mark me impressed. i'd challange that lambo guy: any track in the world, 1 day, fastest lap time counts. he can arrange the transport, food, drinks and hotel cause obviously he likes to show his wealth...
Can't stand comments like this. Why does everything have to be about impressing people? How do you know that they weren't just enjoying their bikes and pleasing the crowd? What makes you think that they give a shit what anyone actually thinks of them? You don't rev the tits off a bike in neutral to impress people or make them think you have skill, you do it because it is fun and, particularly with a cross-plane R1, because it sounds fucking awesome.
after thinking about it for while i have to say that if i was out with some bike-friends and we stumble across a lambo or any other supercar pulling in a crowd id probably go bananas on the throttle too... just for the heck of it :-P

yeah they buy 180hp only to use about 50 of it... the bike in my avatar is a cbr600 and it has 110hp and i find it to be more than enough for daily use, the only place i wish i had a little more is on the home straight at the track..

Bikes will always sounds and accelerate better than any supercar, although I prefer supercars, this is undeniably true.
