At the very end, when they kiss, you can tell he is the happiest man on the planet. He wasn't showing off for his girl, and she wasn't being dragged unwillingly by her husband. She faced HUGE fears to share an immensely important part of his life with him. She knew what it meant to him, so she did it. He knew how hard it was for her, and he loved her all the more. This feels like a very intimate moment for them to share with us - kinda like Rubens Barrichello's son taking Dad for a spin in his race car, and Rubens couldn't stop crying because he was so proud of his son who wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps, and who was doing a very good job of it.

Being a professional driver, win countless world championships and your wife still tells you how to drive :-)! Good on her for wanting to share this part of his life and facing her fears. you can tell he's taking it gently (relatively) to look after her! Top professional drivers really are on another level they can be completely relaxed whilst far faster and smoother than most normal people could ever hope to be! I'm sure I'd be equally scared!

I raced with augusto in a karting race in, uhm, 2005?.
he had training during qualification but has no the permit from alfa romeo (was a AR driver) to race officially.
I remember how was tremendous trying to be faster than him with medium-soft tyres. he was using hard tyres obviously. ;-) he was also very kind with every driver and bring a lot of fun on track. same year he reached the european championship with alfa romeo 155. great job farfus!
