  • Join nature photographer and conservationist Art Wolfe as he heads out on he adventure of a lifetime in this marathon. He starts off in New Zealand, capturing portraits of contemporary Maori artists who wear their stories on their faces in the form of sacred tattoos, before moving to the wild South Island to explore the pristine beauty and wildlife. He then travels by elephant deep into India’s jungle in search of the last of the planet’s Bengal tigers, and to Nepal seeing rare Asian rhinos, elusive sloth bears and primeval gharials along the way. As well as seeing the spectacular wildlife of Mexico’s Baja and the sacred monasteries of Bhutan.

Te Moko used to be sacred, but not nowadays. Anybody gets these tattoos especially the gang persons.
The white guy doesnt speak the truth. It's not been the Maori who've spear headed the land conservation.
    But beautiful looking doco.
