I just bought this yesterday as we have an office nerf war during our breaks and I had my co-worker shook when he said "WTF is that!?" when I fired at him. This gun is an absolute powerhouse!
This is straight up my favorite stock pump action springer ever created. Decent fps, drum compatibility, great prime, comfortable profile, its an absolute unit.
Just finished a high-power (200fps) event using the 2.0 with the drum. It was awesome. As long as you remember to top it off from a dump pouch (or scavenging) it basically gives all-day play without having to mess with mags. Had DZ's BCAR on it and it was hitting right around 180-190fps. Looking forward to weaker spring offerings for HVZ/kid-friendly games
@@Matt-md5yt Yeah, if there's any complaint I can come up with for it, it's that that blaster is a little "schizophrenic". The DPS/hot swap/etc. wants it to be a competition blaster, but the drum setup/rear-load begs for HvZ/long-play-scavenging. But I mean if the worst complaint you can come up with is that it's "got too many options and capabilities", that's a pretty good day
This getting ready to be favorite Dart Zone Springer... 1) The barrel isn't so low that feel the need to always shoot at an angle. 2) A drum is easier to reload during an engagement. 3) I'm so excited, I forgot what #3was.😊 Oh Yeah.! The Bearings on the primer handle. 4) Comes with a Scar Barrel. 5) Has the Zombie Strike facade.
This is a really nice blaster! Thanks for this review I thought it was a drum only blaster so wasn’t interested this changed my mind. Great video as always thanks for really digging into this blaster.
I have the Nexus Pro. I watched some videos from reviewers. They are clear both have great performance. For the Striker/Tomcat 2. I believe that Dart Zone only missed the 50 drum and previous compability support. For the rest difficult to fight against all you get for $50. Dart Zone Pro line stuff showing to Nerf how to use the "Pro". 😂
Great video! Dart Zone is killing it. My clubs FPS limit is 160, so I have to wait for a weaker spring to be able to use it. The drum makes it a perfect loaner blaster.
Couple interesting things I found in my Stryker. They appear to be using.509 barrels. Mines the same length as the nexus but skinnier and tighter! Giggity! That length is actually too short for the Stryker making it not seal as good as it could. I was able to fix the seal but I’m wondering if that’s just mine or not?
Great video! Little suggestion for future videos, could you please show what the sight picture looks like on the camera? I think it'll be great add-on for people who want to make in-depth purchasing decisions.
That is a great suggestion! I’ve done it randomly in prior videos where the sight picture was trivial, but didn’t bother on blasters where it feels natural and simple to aim like this one. However I can certainly do that going forward. Thanks!
I would've bought this but I decided to buy the venom and a worker nightingale magazine so ill get that eventually just gotta save then I can have a battle between the nexus X and the Stryker 2
So, I own the Dart Zone Nexus Pro X and it turns out that it may or may not have that part you're talking about with the barrier or bearing that protects the Blaster from wear and tear. What I do know is that taking it apart is kind of a pain when you can't put it back together but with four hands it is possible to put it all back together.
So I managed to put a spacer in this Blaster a 2 inch spacer and I got 230 FPS so then I tried it with a longer barrel you know I tried several different sizes starting from 16 in I'm working my way down and all the sizes I tried actually decreased performance so I believe the plunger tube to be maxed out at 230 fps
Damn, you got me! GF Trion is my primary for most events, but I put a lot of work into it. For an out-of-the-box value, it’s hard to beat what the Stryker 2.0 offers! However, also consider that the GF company is not making blasters until they find new investors, so you may want to look at that one first.
pretty cool they did something that the community did with their TomCat included in the packaging. that and redid the entire blaster that was pretty much Target's Nexus pro into something different. I still like the Stryker MK1 and love my modded Nexus still. might get the new stryker for a friend sometime so we can play together
That’s a great point! It’s good to see both offerings having their own special features and inclusion so it compels consumers to get both versus gaming to choose one. Also good for business I can imagine heh heh
I really like how this thing looks, until you get to the magwell, I'm just not a fan of drums and the way the mag adapter doesn't sit flush with the body bugs me
Don’t lose hope! AUS 🇦🇺 and NZ 🇳🇿 just got Dart Zone recently. I know they are working hard to get blasters into the UK as well. In the meantime, you might wish want to check out Blastertime! 🇳🇱

Same. The height over bore on the NPX is too much.
I guess the cost of the drum offset what they could include.
You would be surprised how well this blaster does with the PCAR. I was getting consistent 204-205FPS with the Nitroshot Bamboos 😮

230FPS is insane lol. I haven’t gotten a chance to play with ballistics yet, but I’ll get my hands dirty soon!
