Yeah I've been elk hunting with 300 win mag for years that's way too much gun for that short of a barrel..... You might as well just don't have the powder on the ground when you load it cuz that's where it's going to end up
At first, I honestly didn't know that was a SCAR-H, because of how small it looks in your hands. Cans inside a cinderblock is probably the best guntuber innovation I've seen in a while.
Yer ago in Australia when we were allowed semi auto a few Browning Bars were recbarreled from 7mm Rem mag to 458 Win mag for sambar deer hunting. To say they were very efective
1:20 I see Nemo Arms was jealous of the HK-51 Flashbang Dispenser and decided to make their own in an even beefier cartridge, though sadly sans full auto option.
What’s interesting on the cinderblock test is that it looks like the 308 and the 458 magnum hit in basically the same spots. The 308 seemed to miss the can, and maybe would have pierced it if it hit a little higher. The 458 magnum, on the other hand, didn’t need to hit the can. It just demolished everything.
If you're like me you tagged along with your dad to the gun store and they had long one box of these things that you just had to see what they looked like
If you can't bring yourself to open a can with your pocket knife......you're carrying the wrong knife. Keep your fillet knives in the kitchen. Keep a useful knife in your pocket.

(i actually had that happen to a 200 dollar knife once and the guy never even offered to replace it, we're not friends any more, not over that of course but stuff like that is a good indicator you're dealing with an a-hole)
@ Hog House are some amazing knives, if I was ever to spend almost $1000 for a knife I would definitely go with one of them, especially if they have some in some of the newer super steels like rex121
7.62x54R is often termed as the Russian .308. It can perform as well as .30-06 and 8x57 JS mauser if fired out of a long enough barrel. I believe the original nagant has a 28" barrel. Sure it's no longer black powder but the powder used is supposedly slower burning and needs that extra length.
Honestly, it was cool to see the different popular 30 caliber rounds doing what they did. That 458 was crazy though. And 308 did much better than I thought compared to the others.

Now I see that my dream and imagination has come to reality and fruition. Thank you Scott for showing me this, made me go down memory lane and shed a tear back to my youth. Needless to say the guy holding the R4 rifle went flick flacking back and his two buddies dropped everything and ran off. Can you imagine their stories at the shebeen describing the horror of seeing their buddies chest ripped open and spine come out the back as he flew through the air? Great result for conservation - my guide buddy sadly was extremely upset by doing what he had to do and quit took us about 45 minutes to get to him and piece everything together Still a great result But I don’t get why the silicon torso wasn’t shot backwards (light filled rounds?)

That shot at 2:00 of your gun wall is hilarious to me. This is what foreigners imagine when they think of the average American and their guns lmao. Scott just casually having the rec-room from Tremors in his house will never get old
I just found your series of Kentucky roulette videos last night and laughed for over an hour. Please bring more of those videos to the channel. I absolutely loved them!
Kentucky ballistics the show where you find new ways to make your shoulder scream from the recoil of big guns and destroying defunct vehicles and see what happens
What about some vids about old guns, like Kar 98, Sprigfield 1903, Lee Enfield and the like? I'm just one of your nearly 5 million subbers (congrats, by the way), but i'd be very interested in that type of content too!
So... does that come in .416 Rigby? Also that 300 WinMag one would certainly live up to it's name if fired inside, I wonder how big the fireballs would be inside a dark basement 🤔 Fun video and best of luck.
If the tip of the lead hadn't been so blunt it would have gone through the vest. I'm UK and probably on a register for watching your videos. I grew up in the 70's with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, a knife in my pocket, a catapult, a box of matches and an air gun. I harmed no one.

Having personally seen what a .458 does to an Elephant I’m very confused as to why the zombie wasn’t knocked over when wearing the plate.
.458 is the defquto trail guide rifle - it’ll stop anything you come across in Africa (and has)
No idea why you’d want a battle rifle chambered in .458 it’s pretty useless beyond 100m compared to the other calibre sand I’d be pretty sure the Geneva convention wouldn’t sportive of it for close combat (nor would anyone near you)
Anyway a field guide was walking with one guest and happened on 3 poachers with an assault rifle they aimed at him and fired a shot - the guide did what Guides are trained best to do - chamber a round and shoot the threat in front of him protecting his guest and himself.
Needless to say the guy holding the R4 rifle went flick flacking back and his two buddies dropped everything and ran off.
Can you imagine their stories at the shebeen describing the horror of seeing their buddies chest ripped open and spine come out the back as he flew through the air?
Great result for conservation - my guide buddy sadly was extremely upset by doing what he had to do and quit took us about 45 minutes to get to him and piece everything together
Still a great result
But I don’t get why the silicon torso wasn’t shot backwards (light filled rounds?)
@@downsouthsafaris6788did u not see him put it on the pvc pole that went through the table? It wasn’t just free standing
@@Dans92578 it’s a PVC pipe in a folding camp table that weights less than 100kgs
I’ve seen and have footage of a .458 stoping a full grown 7 tonne elephant in its tracks in full charge it’s just not equating
"Ohh man it smells like the bathroom at Taco John’s" 😂😂😂😂
16:28 I'm really happy you are an entertainer/gun guy rather than a surgeon XD I love the Nitemare 300 Win Mag, but this thing is even better!! Cheers for the share Scott
My wallet hurts just watching those mag dumps😆
Time for a name change… Texas ballistics ranch… go buy it!!!!
Can you imagine 475 CheyTac in a battle rifle set up that would be completely insane
You know by my comments over the years Scott, I am a .458 Winchester Magnum nutcase...your video on the M1 version was tempting but the constant jamming issues caused me hesitation. But this beautiful LADY...wow!!! Simply breathtaking...thank you!
This was an awesome video! The testing was thorough and the explanations were clear. I really enjoyed seeing the power of the 458 in action. Keep up the great content!
Terries: "I ams makes the hiding behind the backside of blocking cinders."
458BR: "That's cute. Don't forget your blankie."
Shoulder fired artillery. I love it!!!
Scott, you’re genuinely such a treasure 😭 love you man !
"You just got jammed" never gets old 😂
That shot at 2:00 of your gun wall is hilarious to me. This is what foreigners imagine when they think of the average American and their guns lmao. Scott just casually having the rec-room from Tremors in his house will never get old
Another classic, I always feel good after these videos. And that blue sky, we need that in England right now.
10:18 I snort laughed. Then coughed and emitted my own toot. 😂 I really enjoy these videos!
I have school tomorrow and its currently 11:35pm and I wake up at 6am but what ever this is better than know about math
I just found your series of Kentucky roulette videos last night and laughed for over an hour. Please bring more of those videos to the channel. I absolutely loved them!
Nemo arms 300 win had such a huge fireball I think I’m in love
Kentucky ballistics the show where you find new ways to make your shoulder scream from the recoil of big guns and destroying defunct vehicles and see what happens
Man! You HAVE to love the slow-mo rifle shots, but that big 458 Winchester Magnum rifle is the absolute TRUTH!
What about some vids about old guns, like Kar 98, Sprigfield 1903, Lee Enfield and the like? I'm just one of your nearly 5 million subbers (congrats, by the way), but i'd be very interested in that type of content too!
14:59 feels like we are watching police body cam.
This was an especially funny episode. I almost need to keep a stick in my office. “Yah, yah”
So I come from Austria and I love 🤟 these big caliber videos I think in my heart ❤ I am American!!!
We Welcome All gun lovers to the brotherhood! 🇺🇲👍
17:03 This is one reason why you don't use pistol lights on rifles, Scott!
“.458 Win Mag battle rifle.
When you absolutely have to stop an army of zombie Sasquatches.”
at 9:06, an easy fix, just use a 'spinal tap' to get a hole to put the dummy onto.
So... does that come in .416 Rigby?
Also that 300 WinMag one would certainly live up to it's name if fired inside, I wonder how big the fireballs would be inside a dark basement 🤔
Fun video and best of luck.
😂 I think your American at heart anyways. 🤣
@benhuntinfish44 Thank you! 🤗
8:50 idk if he gave consent Scott.
Good to see ya again Scott!!
Hi Scott, absolutely love when zombie torsos meet there maker, so to speak. That 458 is a MONSTER!! Stay safe and thank you as always!!!!
Scott that rifle looks sick!!! Still waiting for the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser rifle video
The intro goes crazy
Never would I ever have thought I would see a semi auto 458. Thank you for enlightening me. New gun acquirement level unlocked! (it shoots through cars)
