I don't know if you are still around or not Racimbio, but I just wanted to drop a note here. You fixed my audio in year 2024, five years later then your original video. I installed the two "Elgato Video Capture" programs on both pcs. They don't appear to like the current way I connect, so I didn't actually "run" them. But I think they loaded required drivers on both my streaming pc and gaming pc. Because I'm getting my audio from the gaming pc through OBS. WOO HOO. Thank you soooooo much. You are the only one that has helped in my saga of RUclips and Elgato chaos for a couple of long hours. Gotta love audio.
I watched at least 100+ sound setup videos, only your video helped me, whenever I got sound problem, I came here again and follow the steps, then magic happens. Thank you

My native language is german, so please forgive me if my english sounds strange. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the tutorial. I have certainly been streaming with Elgato and OBS for about 2 months and had massive problems with the sound at the beginning. In the meantime I have solved this problems relatively well, but still not satisfactorily ... until today and thanks to your video. The problem: since I use the capture card, the sound came from my screen, but when i try to use the 3.5mm jack on the pc - silence. Same situation with my xbox one controller. What I have been missing so far was sound capture, which was not installed until now. Only with the software it's possible to redirect the sound on to my pc (and on the controller) instead of on the screen.
