There actually is a mansion high up on a tower called V's mansion but you have to do parkour and a glitch spot to get to it.
Still one of the best games.
Today at least
Biggest lie: "Release Date: When it's ready."
So damn true
ya it was definitely not ready
I mean...how can you make that statement and release the game in this state....it's a fucking joke, granted the story and characters are nice, but it is nowhere near what was promised
Yep
@@MartinAslaksen True, i remember them saying that the side quests would be even better constructed than witcher 3s... they weren't, at all, not even close...
It’s so transparent what cdpr was doing here, just blatantly lying to their audience. There’s being overly ambitious and not delivering, and then there’s deliberately lying to your customers for profit.
From what’s shown here, Cyberpunk could have been the next GTA San Andreas :(
3:05 dude i laugh at it when i first play the game just like your reaction..
Cyberpunk 2077 is the Fyre Festival of Gaming
They also did this for the witcher 3 gameplay trailer
Work in progress - Does not represent the final look of the game
The biggest lie was every lifepath choice matters, every decision will ripple to the rest of the game. Bullshit
Wow. I can understand going to Night City either way. But that doesn’t change the fact that each of us should act different and we were supposed to have different endings and events. Smh CDPR. You made the Witcher 3, and then disgraced yourselves
Same with the Witcher 3. The only decisions that mattered were in the last 5 minutes or something most people went out of their way to fuck up and 90% of the playerbase would never get. TW2 was their last good game.
@@The_Based_Batman i dont think so, TW3 have some early side quest that matter for late game like if keira die lambert will also die, baron side quest also have big consequences, and i think how player act with ciri and emyr will decided the ending, and its like in mid game. its not a perfect game but far better than cyberpunk
The developers that worked on The Witcher are not present in the making of Cyberpunk so you can take what you can from that
@@Newera1047 CDPR developed... Both though...
"Every npc has a life" if you call spinning in circles and then disappearing when the protagonist turns around life, then yes every npc has a life of its own.
Your primitive 2021 intellect wouldn't understand these pretty normal futuristic customes.
27 years old and V still hasn't developed object permanence.
The same guy kept coming to stand next to me and yell at his cell phone, ofc there was no sound coming from him. Exactly like real life.
My favorite is the end point of the AI pathing instructions, where they hit the end, and do a 180 to walk the other way. You can sit there for like 5 mins, and see 200 NPCs all do the same stupid thing lol.
Alot of it was short cuts in programming and resource management. The "AI" is primitive simple script as for them magically vanishing, probably because the engine is mismanaging resources so their shortcut was to despawn any entity not in direct view of the player. But what do you expect from a game that was completely scrapped multiple times and then quickly rushed together after the shareholders started to get pissed.
The whole ps4 trailer was a lie

Even if it existed it won't make sense unless you take Johnny's advice at end.

Even without all the bugs, the game does not deliver on most of its main premise, the level of body customization and everything is lackluster, you can’t even get a haircut in a world where you should be able to do whatever the hell you want with your body with technology, the AI is absolutely pathetic, the story is pretty damn linear, especially considering that it’s one of its few “strong points”, there’s so much cut content, most of the customization does absolutely nothing, the combat is meh, the police system is horrible, the bugs are nearly endless, etc etc
It’s pretty sad that the story is one of the strong points since even it is just ok tbh..

@@MartinAslaksen
EA and the like don’t claim to be on the side of gamers and don’t claim to “leave the greed to others.” We expect it from them because they have been doing this shit unapologetically forever. If tomorrow, EA came out and said that gamers are nothing but wallets with legs and exist solely to be emptied, everyone would be like “EA doing EA things.” CDPR pretended to be the exact opposite of that when they in fact are exactly the same.
its funny that the whole gamepaly traielr is a lie nothing you see there is true...
actually, almost everything they showed about gameplay is in the game. People are just focusing on what is not because, well it is the popular opinion that "cyberpunk bad company lie company evil". Gameplay is actually awesome. I've played for +80 hours now. Only problem with the game was bugs, and they don't exist now, they fixed them in 3 weeks. Other one is ps4 version not working properly, and people are right to be angry about this. You buy a game for your console, they say it will work and it doesn't work. I would hate this game if i was playing on ps4. But people shitting on gameplay is just a sheep psychology. PC player, or a player who hasn't even played the game sees every ps4 player complaining about the game, so they join them and complain about whatever they find. Because for some reason science probably can explain, humans LOVE sheep-like behaviour.
EA-Ubisoft: releases same game for the 20th time with a different title.
Player: Sleep
EA: Loot boxes, microtransactions in singleplayer game
Player: Sleep
Ubisoft: Singleplayer game so bad that they sell exp boost so you can skip the grind and actually finish the fucking game.
Player: Sleep
BioWare (and ea): Anthem.
Player: Okay jst a bad game and most of the time doesnt work i wasted 60 dollars but i will keep Sleeping.
CDPR, who are actually ambitious about their games, customer friendly, releases DLC's for free that are actually better than full games ubisoft released in last 10 years: Makes Cyberpunk 2077, the game is fucking amazing, and there is no point in comparing it to any game ea or ubisoft makes. Because quality is a top priority for cdpr unlike other companies that care about profit more than reputation. But game has 2 big flaws, bugs and it doesn't work on ps4. Will they abandon the game like anthem without doing anything and scam players ? No, they fix almost everything in 2-3 weeks, and they keep working hard. Even if they don't, they know their game is still better than most of the market. But they do not accept this and call their own game "bad, disappointing". And keep trying to improve it.
Player: Death threats, endless hate on every single social media, asking for refunds, starting literal lawsuits. Literally trying to end the one of the few companies that actually makes good games. Fuck you internet, are you happy ? Does being a sheep actually feel THAT good ? I'm asking to the ones who played for 1 hour and refunded, than started to complain about the game everywhere just for the sake of it. I'm asking to youtubers who did countless negative content about cybeprunk and how you should hate CDPR, players should unite and not allow for this to happen. When the game is already fixed and plays like how its supposed to. But does nothing about how EA Ubisoft BioWare is fucking everyone every single year. I'm asking to the kiddos who only watch the game from their favorite streamers and become a game critic suddenly. Please stop. cdpr is the only good one we have left, stop being sheeps for once please. Don't get me wrong, the game is not flawless, i could count its and any game's flaws all day, even the ones that are core and won't get fixed like lack of cinematic action on story but.. well no point in explaining that further, if you have more than 20IQ you got the idea. They don't scam you then spit on your face like other companies, they make an amazing game with a lot of flaws, then do their best to fix them so quickly. Delivering a really fun game. The hate is veeery unnecessary.

I don't even understand the reason cdpr fanboys keep defending this game. It was a big mess it has too many bugs, unfinished features, and fake trailers. To be fair witcher 3 is a gem but cdpr is not rockstar games.
Biggest lie is that your choices matter. No it doesn't, it only matters at the end of the game when it tells you there's no turning back. All the choices you do before that doesn't do shit. Character classes doesn't change the way you play the game either, just the first scenes and some dialog.
This could have been the game of the year if they didn't hype it up with so much lies. Honestly, it's not a bad game. They just didn't deliver with their promises. |
What bugs me the most though, is that you can brute force open specific doors with your tech or your arms, but you can't do that with all doors. I would prefer if they make all doors accessible even if they just copy and paste stuff inside just to keep the illusion of freedom to do what you want.
Mood!! Honestly this is the part that gets me the most. I just wanted your choices to matter and to be able to replay this game plentty of times, to live my own unique story and life in night city. Oh well I guess...
Damn are we sure Todd Howard is not the game director for cyberpunk 2077. These lies would be up his alley.
You forgot how they said you would be driving down the street when a random car full of gangs members will start chasing you and shooting at you and following you. That was in the trailer and it wasn’t in the game. And also how they said that every single choice will ripple through the game world and change everything in the story, 95% of the choices have the same exact outcome
Took em 3 years lol
So at the end of the day we got an extremely mediocre game that doesn't nearly deserve the praise that it got from critics.
The game in general is very basic and not very good. Visually it's good. The way guns reload and look, are impressive. Everything else though? Not very good. Besides the voice acting. characters are kinda meh, for the most part or at least done very blandly. Keanu ruins the main story, because it's shit and has nothing to do with V except he has this chip in his head. Some of the side missions are more interest and fun than the main story. No police system in the game? Night City isn't dangerous at all. There's no random spouts of violence, only in a certain little spot on the map. There's no reputation system with different factions. The weapons are or were very limited. No customization in the game for your character or vehicles.
I mean you could go on and on. Not sure how anyone thinks the main story was interesting. It was boring as fuck. They kill off a bunch of interesting characters at the start, that you never get a connection with and I don't care that they died, this includes Jackie. Not to mention the lifepath's make zero difference, they're some jumped up nothing burger that means zero in the grand scheme of things. The intro's are cool but extremely short and uninteresting.
You're accused of killing the leader of Arasaka and a powerful figure within the world and Arasaka....never comes after you? No death squads or anything like that. No random attacks by them...nothing. Not even Adam Smasher chasing or hunting your ass down. Hell, he's the final "boss" of the game and it means nothing, because you never see him in the game outside of the mission to steal the chip. SO what exactly is the point there?
They also said enemies wouldn't be bullet sponges and literally every enemy is a bullet sponge. The cars were all janky and spun out for no reason. i think I'll stop here, but you get my point. I've not kept up with the updates but from what I can tell it's still bare bones. If not for the modding community this game would be dead in the water.
The biggest lie will always be the story, they promoted the game like it was a game about gangsters and mercs in a futuristic city in 2077 after all the game wasn't about this, Johnny in the demo was only a Night City legend not a guy in your head unfortunately
bro did we play the same game??
@@slendernaruto4563 Yeah we played the same game, but i'm talking about the story about being gangsters and mercs not about being a guy with a chip that looks to not die
The story was God awful too. Lmao
@giuseppestaszak5363 You deal with gangs every time, you have a lot of gigs (so being a merc) but for some reasons because V tries to save his life that's a lie ???
3:00 like... this is literally the biggest reason to give CDPR the finger. Their city is a big joke.
I thinks it’s okay
This was a predictable outcome, despite whatever the fanboys claimed. But it's a nice reminder for after.
I like to treat these kinds of things as a checklist of things to reimplmement, so thanks for compiling. I'll add on the entire facial model of that female V which was removed from the game. In general the customization system is also nerfed. They talk a lot about it in that 48min demo.
The inspect feature is a feature in the disc beta version of the game that was supposed to ship in September 2020, not sure if you can still play the beta version but I've played it and its ....💀
They managed to lie more than the developers of No Man's Sky!
Yes, and at least No man's sky was fixed and made better.
Cyberpunk is unfixable, even if you take the bugs out, the game is still mediocre. They would have to remake large portions of the game to do what No man's sky did, and we know this ain't happening.
@@karambadodox mediocre? Really? 15 and 16 are incorrect. Some npc’s will pick up the car like jackie did against a cyber psycho in game. Enemies with militech suit do have highlighted weak points that allow for deactivation of the suit. You can see this with some of the cyberpsychos.
Never trust E3 style gameplay trailers period. E3 and such are just marketing platforms, there goal is to build a hype-train for day1 release sales. So its not uncommon for studios to partially or completely fake a product demo. Another thing people need to stop doing is preordering or buying crap day 1, wait it out a week or so for the non-botted user reviews to roll in and ignore "critic" reviews entirely.

I hate this, a while ago I compared some scenes from the Gameplay Reveal trailer from 2018 vs what they actually they actually brought on the market. And sadly the game is nothing like the trailer. Entire scenes have just been changed for the worse. Like if they say 'This is not the actually product yet' you can at least expect it to be better in release right? That trailer is just a vague image of what they game could have been. Mean the technology is there! Sadly this isn't the first neither the last company to fool us and themselves with fancy trailers. Its all but sad, that it went so badly as it definitely had great protentional. Lets hope they learned something, as I fear for other game titles, not just within CD-project red.
"If your stats are too low... you gonna die."
Lies and half-truths, I finished my corpo playthrough with the same Corpo suit I picked up before the Heist and an armor rating around 2000. No tech perks.
TLDR; You *can* wear whatever aesthetic you want, most people are just too fucking lazy to make it work.
@Slippy Frog Sure, I mean...
Point 1.) you *do* purchase cybernetic enhhancements for your character, all the time, and at no point in the trailer was it actually said that you would be able to get full-on cybernetic arms. (though lets be real here... what are arm implants if not that? Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Projectile launchers... they all give you a good look of their interiors when in use and there's nothing *left* of the original arm *in* there.)
Point 6.) The metro was chosen as a set piece to exhibit a birds-eye view of the city, that does *not* mean they were suggesting that you can actually ride the metro, that was a community conjecture.
Point 7.) what even is this petty nitpicking?
Point 8.) as I said before, you can wear whatever the fuck aesthetic you want if you actually bother to invest the minimum effort to do so.
Point 9.) *shrug* why is this even on this list? the clip in question is clearly pre-rendered footage for the trailer.
Point 10.) I'm sorry what? was this ever inferred?
12.) Did they ever say you could do this? once again you have pre-rendered footage, this time of the flathead's control chip. This particular one is never seen in game but there're plenty sequences *like* it when V is getting briefed for an OP, like the Heist or Parade for example.
13.) I'll give him this one, they cut out this portion of the Netrunner playstyle but I'm not particularly upset about it tbh.
16:) *shrug* I'll give him this one too, but the footage is very clearly meant to be a demonstration of the *smart gun* V is firing in this sequence while Jackie uses the car to cover them, another example of Dum-Dums latching onto unimportant details and claiming they were lied to when it doesn't happen later on, as with point 1.)
Graphics: Cyberpunk 2077 > GTA 5
Gameplay: Cyberpunk 2077 < GTA 5
Yes, I did put 200 hours into CP2077
Yes, I did play through it multiple times on very hard
Yes, I did overall enjoy the game
Yes, I hate the bugs and sad about amount of stuff cut from the game
Yes, I hate CDPR management for lying and just playing stupid overall
Cyberpunk 2077 is like a big chocolate cake with added biscuits as decorations that are mostly covered in chocolate icing: it does look invitingly wonderful, but once you try it, it does look unsurprisingly bland and oversaturated.
I can only be sad about this game because I really enjoyed the main story and also the side stories, but all that stuff they removed from the game, the glitches and the terrible AI completely ruins the experience many many times.
Same the story is great but the AI really ruined most of my playthrough
What is there even to enjoy about the main story? It's Keanu telling the PC they need to stop the bad corporation for like 25 hours. Why? Cause corporation.
The worst part is there is no winning they make it seem like the choice is yours but its physically impossible you cant achieve the ending you want at all
Not to mantion the the megabuildings were supposed to be like a whole city by itself lol.
Said nobody
@@aiden_macleod Said CDPR in 2018 lol
@@aiden_macleod damn got owned...
this is a very good review pure facts thanx for making this dude
And the cycle continues
Just come back here after researching 1.5 patch just to see big portions of these feature still don't exist they do improved the open world npc and some physics but not good enough and the only new re customization feature was able to change V hairstyle and facial makeups in his/her apartment and renting different apartments I hope they don't just stop there and start adding these canceled feature to convince me further to reinstall the game
1:16 That car is finally available, after all these years. 😂
Well the purchase aperments lie is true now
Hope that this game rights get sold by a more competent company.
1# nobody in the trailer is T-posing
I saw a militech soldier lift a car like that for a cyberpsycho fight.
I understand that this video is 3 years old, but PLESE can somebody tell me, did i imagine this, or this was actually a thing? I cant find any information about it... I swear i saw in one of the trailers, you could use Monowire like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, and latch it onto enemies, and perform quickhacks with it. This image stuck in my head, but i cant find any proof to it being in any of the trailers...
I found it!!!
Cyberpunk 2077 - Deep Dive Video Aug 30, 2019
At 11 minutes. They showed that moment.
Fun Fact: for #16, they reused that Jackie car-shield animation during one of the cyberpsycho side missions. When you approach the target area, the cyberpsycho is fighting a npc merc and the merc flips a car up just like that to shield himself from the explosive rounds the cyberpsycho is shooting.
rockstar should rework this game
