@@trevorforrester3142 , yeah, I'm with ya! I have modified lots of my own tools and devices over the years, such as putting longer cords on my older power tools, adding power indicator lights or LEDs or illuminated switches to electrical devices and power strips that don't have them, adding modular power-inlet jacks to devices that were formerly hardwired or only ran off of batteries, changing knobs to types that aree easier to see and use, and so on. A mute button on my wife's GPS would be helpfull, especially when she calls me from the car and the device is yammering away in the background (a mute button on my wife might occasionally be useful, and I'm sure she'd say the same about me!). By the way, I truly hate how the power adapter jacks on virtually *everything* these days has been changed to the same type of Mini USB jacks that we find on our smartphones. Those flimsy jacks, especially when used on a GPS device that might suddenly slide off the dash or that gets unplugged frequently and stashed under the seat or in the trunk to deter theft, are all too easy to break from frequent connection cycles or when the cable gets yanked on, and nearly impossible to swap out or repair (even for me, an electronics technician with excellent soldering skills!). I secured the cable and connector to the back of the GPS with self- adhesive tie-wrap buttons and cable ties, so that the worst that can happen is the power cable fails from repeated flexing rather than the jack on the device failing. I wish manufacturers of Audio-Video amplifiers and receivers and so on would design the HDMI inputs with a sleeve or tunnel surround the jacks so that the HDMI connector can't be torqued sideways. Beautiful Gurdy, and a FABULOUS instrument. I hang my measly 6 string knowledge with lowered head. Kudos and CONGRATS!!!!
She is an unbelievable player 😳😳😳. What is normal for her, is just slightly out of normal for us, like by a huuuuuge amount lol. Love the colour Patty. Cheers, Sean
what a kool instrument. Love Ur music
Very cool! How much did it end up costing?
You could get a car for a price of that gurdy.
Norfigrim from Hot Wheels
Thinking it would be priceless/ worth the cost being it's a tool she needs to live her journey through life.
I think she mentions in one of her videos that a really nice hurdy gurdy will run you about 5,000 or 6,000 dollars.
lestat vile
I suspect this one may be even more expensive since everything on it is custom. But, I don’t know. That’s why I asked. :)
I really want a Hurdy Gurdy now! Do you sell them or know where I can get a nice one? "Sea of Thieves" kinda sparked me intrest haha!
"Just call your local Luthier". LMAO
This is the instrument I have finally set my heart on the one I have seen is a deep blue colour I cannot wait to get it.. my neighbours are gonna love me 😆
No idea what any of this means, so I'll just trust that that's a high quality contraption you have.
Wenn Du mal was Zeit hast, könntest Du dann ein paar Klassiker wie Star Wars oder Battlestar Galactica etc. für uns spielen? :)
