When I started watching this show a year ago I was confused as to why Clint was so hesitant to take Kate under his wing. He usually loves mentoring kids who need his help. But I realized: he’d just lost his best friend and it’s hard for him to open up to a new “partner” and it’s lovely to see him accept and open up to her as the show goes along (because this man collects kids like infinity stones)

Don't forget he was a SHIELD Agent before all the Avengers stuff. If I am correct, he was a Specialist and he got the job done alone, just like every other Specialist in SHIELD (quoted from Agent Grant Ward from Agents of SHIELD).

Bro same, I get so mad at the Clint haters. He understandably became Ronan when he lost everything and being an assassin was what he was trained to do. AND AS FOR NAT’S DEATH IT WAS NOT HIS FALT he literally fought her for the right to sacrifice and she won (he explains this beautifully to Yelana in the show)

I love the small part where Clint says his hearing's not what it used to be, and just the quick cuts through different scenes in the MCU that obviously would've bricked his eardrums.

He is such a mood. He acts simple, cracks but on point jokes with a ton of sarcasm, punches back and takes no shit. That's why he is a great character to follow and deserves so much more recognition from the marvel and the fans.
Clint is so underrated. It's a shame he hadn't gotten his own movie or series earlier.

Aw I liked Clint in AoU he took care of everyone and was like the only one who had it together. But he’s also fun in this show and we get to see more of his struggles and him not being so well put together and just being kinda done with everything

Clint is one of the best. Comic fans know it. Always will be. Haters will be vocal though.
Most people disliked him, he was one of my 5 favorites, after all in order, it would be Iron Man, Hawkeye, Capt. America, Hulk and Star Lord.

As a big Hawkeye (which, btw is something most people laugh at me for, or think I’m nuts.) I was really excited when I heard he was getting his own show. And then you can imagine my disappointment, when I saw the first trailer, and just knew it wouldn’t be his show. It was gonna be kate's show.
And I was right. 🙄😑
Besides, that whole finale was just one big middle finger to the guy. He was a goddamn SHIELD agent and an Avenger. He does not get stuck on a tree.
this show was mostly created to introduce a newer hawkeye for the young avengers but yes, i do understand your disappointment. i'm a huge fan of hawkeye but of his comic version not the mcu one
@@MariaVideoEditor Well, it kinda is but it's also not like one day they got an idea to introduce a cool new character so they decided to make a show for her. The actual reason they made this show at all was the same reason they made that Black Widow movie after her death. Both Johansson and Renner had in their contracts one solo movie but since they weren't huge box office draws, their movies were put away to be made later. Then they decided to change Renner's movie into a show (allegedly because they needed more time to tell the story but we all know it's because the movie would be a box office flop. They probably had a bit more faith in Black Widow but it's possible they wanted to do a show about her as well but Scarlett would never agree).
They also realized both Black Widow and Hawkeye projects are kinda pointless after Endgame so they figured they could use them to introduce new characters to create more hype. And they did. But while BW pretty much remained Johansson's movie, they decided to change Renner's show into Kate's show, which was a shitty move towards the "original" actor, tbh. I mean, I could understand it if it was about viewership, as I initially believed. They thought Kate would be more popular so they figured they'd make it all about her to attract more viewers. I get it, they have to make money. But then they announced... an Echo show? A show that maybe ten people are actually excited about? So no, looks like it's not about money.
@@missAlice1990 I really wish they would’ve done a movie about Hawkeye sparing Black widow, and their time together in SHIELD. You could even have some nice cameos from characters like Coulson, Fury, Hill and/or Sitwell

Clint is the definition of a "Anti-Hero" as in, he is not a hero... he is a person that acts like a hero
and that is rare in the MARVEL universe... he has all the charm of a DC Character, stuck in a over-glorified world.
in short: he is not needed here, but he is appreciated.
