It was indeed an adjustment. With Sea Dream being our primary home, it was pretty hard turning and walking away at the boat yard. However, we're back aboard after a fun summer!
I'm pretty sure it was sad to say goodbye to SDOC but I agree that mixing life styles enriches both experiences. Could you please tell me where did you left your boat in dry storage and your experience? I'm looking for a place this year. Thanks in advance and happy new year!
Hi Alan. It had already been replaced when I bought the boat, so I'm not certain of the exact material, but it is some type of vinyl. It is glued to thin plywood which is screwed to stingers glued to the cabin top. There will be some shots of the plywood panels off as I install some wiring in an upcoming video, too. We stored it at Marina Seca in San Carlos. Great service and prices. It was only about $150 month in the storage yard. Cheers!
