    I am suffering from this, I am happy to finally know what it is and now I will seek help, I will make my prefrontal cortex stronger with meditation, exercise and discipline, this is something I need to do for my future and the future of those around me. I will overcome these demons.

    I finally figured out what's been going on with me all this years. I'm so tired. I feel so irresponsible. I feel so selfish. I finally figured out what's going on. There is hope.

      Wish you the best... I'm struggling for almost 15 years now and things got pretty bad in the last years, but I won't stop fighting to finally have a peaceful life one day

      @@madmaximum875 keep fighting. I've been fighting for about 15 years as well. I have had successful periods of time for 1 year, 2 years, 1 year, 9 months, and 5 months. Other than that, I haven't been doing well.

      @@hekutoru_2131 Love the name btw, I truly believe their much in being silent. Also. I don't know if I'm an addict but I battle these demons too. Everybody's is human. Some obviously have diff struggle than other but we all want love and happiness

    Its that daunting feeling,that nagging incessant dishonest distraction...until youre no longer in control, and you just want to get it over with, and it takes longer and longer and weirder snd more shocking....Its like trying to fill emptyness, with emptyness. While everything you love gets further and furrher away from you

      Have you talked to a doctor. They may be able to dull your libido and give you room for behavioral intervention

      Yes most men or ashamed or scared for their life to get ruined because of this disorder. We are mostly scared to admit that we did wrong when our parents should’ve not gave us access/freedom to view this as much as we did

    it’s not in the DSM5 for mental health Illnesses so this is still not a recognised mental disorder. But is quite interesting to hear about…for anyone wondering

      @@bus30056 thanks for letting me know, from my understanding they are used differently- the ICD is like a collection of records of diseases whereas the DSM5 is considered to be the go to for psychological professionals to use when doing diagnosis due to the DSM5 having concrete evidence for diagnosing patients…though of course both are still very much valid and useful.

      It is a recognized mental disorder in Europe, in the UK only the ICD tends to be used as opposed to the DSM

      Curable? Maybe, maybe not. But it's definitely treatable. It just takes A LOT of hard work, therapy, and leaning on the support of people who actually understand you.
