Had AD2 for a few years and never knew the usefulness of this function. Thank you!
Exactly!
Really good tutorial
Wow, this is a gamechanger for my Midi Workflow. Thx
Great demo and explanation. This helped me a lot. Thank you!
Thank you.Excellent explanations !
FIRST!
I'm aware of the glitches in the video, sorry about that, not sure what happened.
The mouse movement? Yeah, super weird. Great vid regardless, though!
Your computer is experiencing the onset of Parkinson's disease.
I am gonna save so much time editing velocity in guitar pro thanks! Could you give some tips for using humanize tools when we use samples from other vsts for drums or otherd too? I struggle to find the right amount for each parameter
Great job! Thanks for the video!
That's amazing! thanks so much for this tutorial!
Thanks! this is still relevant ;3
Very cool. But i think you can do the same with note property in reaper right? Just not as easily. Which leads me to think reaper should consider adding this feature. Like you hover over a key in the pianoroll and, with mouse wheel you can move the velocity up and down of all notes on that key etc... ANyway. thanks for the video.
As a long-time AD1 user, this makes me think of upgrading to AD2.
You won't regret it
@@olas591 Your comment caused me to ask, "what was that transform feature?" since I now have AD2 but had forgotten about this by the time I got it. Thanks for the reminder, lol!
Did you have to create a custom drum midi map to use AD? I'm using Logic pro X, not Reaper and can't get GM midi notes from Logic to match up in Addictive Drums 2. Great vid by the way!
I didn't, but I'm only using MIDI from AD2.
For GM hit the ? button at top right, then choose Map Window.
Choose GM from the list on the left.
@@TheREAPERBlog Thanks very much. Lots of experimenting ahead!
how do you made midi notes like cubase rhombus?
thx for a such useful AD tip!
can you export a midi file from finale ? if so, can you change the individual notes for another instrument? like , in finale midi samples just have 1 china, can you edit the china to sound like 3 different chinas thru the song?
Great video, thank you.
Hello Everybody! Is there any way to change the beats via MIDI like the P.Change is doing to voices in instruments channels (Cubase software)? For example the first 4 bars playing rock beat and the next 4 bars playing RNB beat ! All information of changing beats via MIDI! Thanks in advance!
Can velocity in transform section be automated?
I'm writing drums in guitar pro 5, then export it to reaper and adding vst. And there is a problem. I have no idea how to assign part of a drumkit to midi, for example I want to have crash on midi note 52, but I have hihat, and I have no idea how to change it. Anybody help?
Nice tips
cheers
When I move my beat to the external folder and pull it up in Addicting Drums 2, the beat is way out of time. I checked “timing” and it was all the way down. I can’t figure it out.
super
how can we download this drum vst?

cool
AD2 is certainly addictive. Great stuff, parkinson's a bitch tho :/
I don't hear enything why
There's a knob on your speakers, it's called volume. Turn it clockwise.
for me an unnecessary function, it's easier to save the template in ADD and then put it in the right place
Great job, thanks!
