Love these old episodes, I could watch them all day. I can forgive the continuity error - Annie says her maiden name was "Speedwell" (not a Beaumont of Clitheroe. as she often mentions in later episodes).

Thank you once again for sharing. Really enjoyed that. Elsie and Mr Fletcher the best scenes. My fave era is Elsie/Alan, real life couple Pat/Alan Dec 69 onwards but some brilliant stuff from Pat always. Just brilliant.

Annie was so drab in the early days and her speech too ...She got way more glamorous and articulate in the 70s..That's how we liked her...
