I’m hoping to have some luck finding them, but I’m not holding my breath. Walmart is the worse for stocking new figures, particularly Walmart. Maybe this is a sign that Walmart will start stocking multiverse regularly again.
In mine they haven't stocked in about 4 months. The only wave they got twas the last spawn one and the blue batman phygital wave. In another walmart next to my workplace they retired the line about 6 months ago
I have a love/hate relationship with platinums. If people weren’t so willing to pay double/tripple+ for platinums on The 3rd party market place, scalpers would calm down with buying up everything. Playing the waiting game on the 3rd party market works about 75% of the time too. I know the blue knightsend azbat chases were going for $100-$120+ now they are selling for $50ish.
Only have 1 walmart and no targets within an hour radius and I'm never going to find those platinum figs lol....i wish mcfarlane would stop all the gold and platinum exclusives

He usually sells the figs with a platinum as 6 pack bundles on his site with one being a platinum, thus guaranteeing the sale of 6 figures. Then it's up to the buyer to get his money back. And as long as people keep doing it, he will also.

That Batman Beyond figure is the same DC Direct released a few years ago. It was a 3 pack with the SDCC old Bruce Wayne and Ace. I wonder if by doing this the value of the original 3 pack is going to decrease. They are the same figures. This is good for whoever couldn’t get the original release.
Did someone stick a platinum sticker on that Batman beyond or did Todd make a last minute change. In fact what other gold label platinum has mcfarlane done?? The only one I can recall was the overpriced mcfarlane toy store exclusive baf crisis on infinite earths - psycho-pirate platinum that was also gold label.
Problem I have with them is the consistency. I have 2 targets and 4 walmarts within 1/2 hour radius. 1 WM doesn't even carry McFarlane anymore, the other 3 seem to rotate stock, but have been good with the GL exclusives. I've never once seen the Plastic Man BAF wave, Batman & Robin, Ghosts of Krypton, Batman Forever figures in any WM or Target here. Now they're throwing platinum exclusives in the mix? Hopefully they'll pop up at one of the three WM near me I guess? Ship ALL the figures to ALL the stores that carry them so at least there's the illusion of chance, lol.

And some LEGO, though all of that's locked up and you'll potentially be spending hours waiting for a staff member to get over to the toy section and unlock a case. There's a couple pegs of random things in the electronics section, but that too is locked up. Target's just had the same 3 rows of that one Flash figure since February and about half of the Plastic-Man wave.

Todd doesn't have all control how things are sold, stores have certain deals/policies/rules they go by just like red toys or boxes for target because target is ews blue toys or blue packaging goes to Walmart because Walmarts colour is blue.

Found the ben affleck blue chase and the green lantern manhunter chase today. I had sportsmaster in hand but too many re-used parts for it to be worth it for me. The platinum sergeant rock I almost grabbed but I honestly prefer the original, same goes for batmanga and adam west.

IF, and it’s a big if, but even IF they listen to the people complaining about platinums, it’ll be at least 6 months to a year before anything actually changes because everything about these releases is usually set in stone up to a year before they’re actually revealed online. Everything from the tooling to the packaging is already being worked on and deals with retailers are already set in stone as far as inventory for gold labels, platinums, etc., and those kinds of things can’t just be changed last minute because people don’t like it. So any changes we see will be a long time from now.
We should all collectively email McFarlane customer service saying we’re fed up with platinums lol
