The Milwaukee torpedo has really good magnets 🧲

One thing that a lot of people over look is with ANY newly purchased level or speed square or combination square. ALWAYS check them for square and level at home before betting on them for a job. I have returned several speed squares(Milwaukee red) and a couple levels because they weren’t true. Check them!!

Stabila best by far, the magnets only have to support the level it's self not the work piece

I would not use any of the levels. My preference is the 12 inch empire level. I'm a full time handyman, so I needed a level that is a little longer for marking lines, etc.

Yea man. Handyman here too. The torpedo has its place but I almost always grab the empire 12” box style. I also have a 24” and 48” from Lowe’s they are the orange Johnson brand and those have been great. Plus I got them in a clearance type price. I’ve got a 6 foot empire too but I honestly hardly ever use that.

@@jordanlawson6132 I used the 8 inch for a long time so yes they definitely get the job done but the 12 inch does it better. I have a 2ft but the 12 inch can do most of what it can so a rarely use it. The 12inch and 4 ft are my go to for everything. The only reason I would need a 6ft is if I'm trying to level off a cement floor but I rarely do stuff like that so there is no point.

    Klein level>
Those things are bomb proof and the magnets friggin strong, it doesn't stick it GRIPS!. Damn near every electrician at work has one it's a quality tool.

i’ve had 3 go out of level in short periods of time without being dropped. Loved the level but can’t deal with not being able to trust it when doing electrical work. You flip the level one way and it shows something different then if it’s flipped the other way around. So weird

@@lukelaskowski2941 idk what to tell ya, I've seen quite few Klein levels that have gone through hell and back again still reliably work
