In todays video I second a bathroom which I started last year . I didn't have the suite when I did the first fix so it was all guess work. I show you how to install a pedestal wash hand basin, fit a close coupled toilet and pipe up a towel radiator. Did it all go to plan or did this job come back to bite me.
As always, thanks so much for watching, all the support is so greatly appreciated

Thanks for the support as always John
I new it would be a new brush great video Tom 🤔😎
Thanks for the support as always Neil
I always silicon my wastes. Never had one leak with silicon. Used to use plumbers mate but had it leak on a shower waste
Some people have a right moan up about using silicon but it takes like 2 mins to take it off if you’ve gotta replace a waste
I agree mate, silicone does the job and it works, thanks for the support as always
Another brilliant video Tom . One thing that sets you apart from the plumbers that are on RUclips is you explain everything you are doing and you always move the camera so you feel that you are involved in the job.keep up the fantastic work you do Tom.
Thanks for the support as always mate, I', so pleased you enjoy the videos
Hi Tom.. another good video keep them coming.
Thanks for the support as always Brian
Boss white new version is Uni-white in Ireland that’s what most plumbers use here
Interesting to know, I haven't seen that stuff in a while, thanks for the support as always mate
Hi Tom can you do a vid on air admittance valve when you got a basin waste going into a bath waste
Thanks great video by the way
I can certainly try, thanks for the support as always
So pleased you like the brush. A small token of thanks for the education/entertainment.
I really apprecaite it Tim, it made my week, thanks again mate
i always put little dob grease on the wall fixings, makes them go in easy and out in the future!
Congrats on the new brush Tom, will you get the other one stuffed and mounted? Good content as per, I had a toilet leaking through the enamel not so far back only found it after I took it out half a dozen times! I always silicone wastes never had an issue👍🏻
Thanks for the support as always mate, I had a toilet leaking through the toilet seat hole before , some stuff you get now is shocking, have a great weekend
great job Tom
Thanks for the support as always mate
And I thought it was only Trigger that wore out brushes👍👍👍, you’ll be getting a medal of the Mayor soon 😎
Thanks for the support as always Neil, I do like getting my money's worth out of stuff, hopefully the new one will last a good 10 years
Great vid as usual Tom, nice to see that job nearly done, always nice to see the end result, and all that attention to detail on a first fix pay off. 🚽👍 take care .
Thanks for the support as always Peter
I always silicone basin wastes. Water tracks down the thread otherwise. I know it’s a bit controversial but hey, I’ve never had a call back
I'm the same, I keep meaning to try those basin mates but I get stuck in my ways, thanks for the support as always Andrew
I use plumbers putty under the waste on top of the nut rather than silicone on top. I've never had a leak
Basin mates superb
love the new brush, at flippin last lol
Can we have a ceremonial binning of the old brush now? 😁.
We should have mate, thanks for the support as always
Great video as always
Thanks for the support as always mate
Hey up Tom, subscriber here. Just would like to mention how much more quality would be brought to your vids with a simple lavaliere microphone. Thanks for the info
I do need to invest in a mic, Thanks for the support as always mate
You deserve a medal for that brush mate. “Had the same brush for 14 years………….” Good one Trigger😂🤣😂
I know mate, I certainly would have had a medal if I worked for the council, thanks for the support as always Andrew
Same brush for 14 years only had 7 new handles and 6 new heads 😂
Hi Tom, well done on your educated guess for the first fix, it’s all looking good now and coming together nicely.
The new brush will have plenty of miles in it, it looks quality and was a nice gift.
Have a great rest of the week and as always take care Tom. 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching as always Chris, the new brush will certainly get some good use, hopefully I should get a good 10 years out of it, have a great week 👍
like your idea on fitting basins, why i never thought about that one! 😖
Great video Tom, I wish more took your advice with the pedestal - I've had to change a few basins sink wastes and have had to remove the sink to get the pedestal out of the way.
Thanks for the support Alan
Nice work Tom, and a pressie of a new brush very nice to be appreciated . Remind me of only fools and horses Trigger brush from his day of starting work they only had 15 heads and four new handles😂😂😂
Thanks for the support as always Tom, that's the one, have a great week 👍
Great to see that bathroom come together, keep up the great work Tom 👏👏👍
Thanks for the support as always Andy
still off work another vid pops up, made my day tom 😁 i fit wastes exactly like you do, its only controversial to the youtube armchair trolls !
Hope you are on the mend soon Pete, you can't beat silicone on wastes, thanks for the support as always mate

Thanks for the support as always mate, we are always alright, you have to be
Brilliant video as always and Triggers broom lives again 🤣
Thanks for the support as always Anthony, it's brush mark2
@@PlumbLikeTom Now you're ment to say that it's the same brush except it's had new handle and new bristles. Think I am showing my age on that joke 🤣
Great video Tom 👍😎 unfortunately quality control is defined by the consumer, very frustrating.
Thanks for the support as always Pb, everything you buy seems to be getting worse, it's very frustrating sometimes
Great work as ever Tom, i had a similar issue with a hair line crack in a basin recently, zero manufacture quality control and looked to be an isue in the fireing rather than a transport crack.
I would say this was a firing issue, I never noticed it when I looked at the basin, thanks for watching as always Paul 👍
RUclipss greatest
I'm not sure about that mate, thanks for the support as always Darryl
Top One TOM.
Thanks for the support mate, it is greatly appreciated 👍
Hiya mate top quality as always mate! Sorry I’ve not been on bro! Been super busy with work! Will try talk to you in the weekend!
Thanks for the support as always Brad, we will have to have a catch up
Hi Tom… quick question if that’s ok…. I am going to change flush valve on close coupled toilet …the set came with a flat foam washer and a normal rubber doughnut . Which is best to use. Thanks
I prefer the rubber ones, the foams ones should also be ok though, thanks for watching mate 👍
Lovely old job Tom
Thanks for the support Andy 👍
👍👍
Thanks for the support as always Colin 👍
Your new brush HAS TO be named Basil, tom ...🦊
It does mate, thanks for the support as always
Another good one Tom. What was the name of that label printer you were using with your phone a while ago? Encourage my laziness and save me looking through old videos please.
It was niimbot, the one I have is the d110, I paid £20 but I see they are 30 on amazon now, thanks for the support as always Hugh
🤘😎🤘
Thanks for the support as always Wayne 👍
Mate I wished you had shown fitting the pedestal, was it really awkward?
Sorry about that, it didn't record for some reason, it just slid in really, sometimes you have to angle them a bit but this one went nice and easy
I had heard a while ago about fluid master bottom entry valves loosing their water regs approval but didn't know it was blue water. I have probably fitted 100 of them . When I worked for another housing association that's all we used . Might be an issue now 😯😯 oops .
I used to fit loads of them as well, they bought out the air gap model which is approved, thanks for watching as always mate 👍
Is that a budget install ? It looks cheap a d cheerfull .
Silicone the basin waste both sides and it won't leak .
Thanks for the support as always mate, the customer supplied the materials on this job, as long as they are happy that's all that matters
Tom, Is that a flexible drill bit??😂
It wasn't supposed to be, it was likely just a rubbish one, thanks for the support mate 👍
Did you have to replace the basin as it looked like it was cracked?
I haven't yet, It was more of an air hole than a crack, it seemed to seal up fine so I'm leaving it with the customer, thanks for watching as always mate 👍
Is it my eyes going or were the flexi's to the basin crossed and then straight at the end bit, where the leak was showing?
I will have to watch it back, I never noticed anything when I fitted it, sometimes I don't always notice stuff though, thanks for watching 👍
@@PlumbLikeTom Probably my eyes Tom tbf. Hard to tell with the angles. Anyway top work fella, as always.
Copper pipes under the basin need clips. Come on, Tom ffs!!!
I'm not going to lie, I've never clip my pipes under pedestal basins, they were clipped under the floor on the first fix and I try to hide them with the pedestal so you don't have much space to clip anything, thanks for watching
But why, and what would you clip them to?
We should do a whip round as subscribers for the £170 to get that software lad !! Set up a paypal or something with a link so we can send ya some $ ! Legend! ✌️
I think I'm sorted now, It's taken me a while to figure it out though but I'm getting there, thanks for the support as always mate
If you want help with the change in format I can probably help(free)
Thanks for the offer mate, I'm slowly figuring out how to sort it, I downloaded a vlc thing which converts it to standard format, it doesn't always seem to work though, I have done about half the clips so far.
Thought I would ask love your videos
Windows store codek
It's my editor that doesn't like it, you have to upgrade to the pro version to use the footage, I've tried a couple and they all seem the same
Sure I only paid 79p for mine il look for it in a bit
HEVC video extensions, shpuld allow your editor to use the footage in any program, works for da vinci for me
@@heymofo1981 it just says media offline, the audio plays though, I use davanci
