One of my favorite pieces of music, ever. Love these guys.
For those saying this is different from the original, each time Billy and his Dad play this slightly differently, Billy improvises constantly. Great musicians can do that, This tune is a good base for improv. I like that. Who wants to hear the same thing every time ? Tunes evolve. That is what live performance is about
Even Chet who made it so mainstream improvised and sort of played it differently and added notes throughout the years. It's the whole point in playing music like this!
Tony Rice didn't play the same song the same way. That is what we'll loved about him.
Just read tonnes of comments and didn't see anyone saying that, but still I agree with you. These guys can improv nice.
People are saying this is different from the original - I think the main reason is because that the video is mixed in a way that the harmony melody is much louder than the main melody. It's absolutely the same song anyways.
So neat to see a dad playing with his son! I bet this is the result of hundreds of hours together when bill was growing up!
More like thousands
An example for all dads to follow. Unfortunately the labors of parents are rarely recognized or celebrated. This is a beautiful rare example of exceptional parenthood and being a great son.
I thought I was a gifted guitar picker from Chicago until I moved to Arden, North Carolina age 14 and watched a caravan of mountain hill pickers picking away some Watson tunes on the back of a hay filled 1947 pickup wagon.
Lol. Funny story and very true. Some of the best pickers are from the Appalachia Mountain area from little towns and hollers you've never heard of :). Hopefully your move was worth it!
Thank you Terry for helping and forming such an incredible young man!!! We all love you and Billy!! God bless you
I am proud to be here with my son . Words of a great father and good man
Can't get enough of billy. If you haven't seen him live, do yourself a big favor and do.
"Proud to be her with my son" cut scene forward a few seconds. I think he teared up. So sweet
Just what I need to forget what I am going through. I could listen to these mirrored guitar father and son play day in and day out.💕✌🏼
Thank Poppa Strings for Bringing us Billy.. Great Mentor..
Man if I could jam with my dad.... that’s awesome!
Talented son & proud as punch dad, what a combo.
Father and son of the decade.
Fantastic. The only thing better than the music is the interaction between Billy and his talented dad..
I love watching these guys play together!!
I miss playing with my pops and my little brother.
We'll play again soon enough though.
Don't ever miss a chance to make great memories!!
They are more valuable than any possessions could ever be.
Be safe out there people!
Safe travels & good luck!
This is one of my favorites !! I could listen over and over!!
These two should defenetly tour together.

Heartwarming man! The emotions that come through, bouncing back & forth from father to son. This is Special Man. Love ya Billy. Catch ya a next time in the City. I was late & caught the ending at paste studios in NYC. Anyway. Be Sound 🤙🏼

2 dislikes, what is wrong with people 🤔😕
3 now😰😕😥
a bunch of skunks !
Some people would bitch if you hung 'em with a new rope.
I didn't hit the dislike button but I did dislike the out of tune strings and out of rhythm playing, It's like you think people are supposed to like everything. There is a dislike button for a reason right?
Dig it,
@0:38 start time
Was Terry ever famous in his own right?
I read somewhere that he was big on the scene but never recorded.
I see there are two dislikes: how is that even possiible?
Right?
Douche baggages
What a mess they made out of windy and warm 😂😂
What a bloody mess ...a thumbpick?🤣🤣🤣
