Beautiful collar. I plan on making one now 💜 Please please invest in the eyeglass screwdrivers. Those exacto blades are only small razors....so think about that. Over time that very thin razor's point is going to snap off and fly somewhere while you're twisting it to remove a screw. I would hate for you to get injured. Thank you so much for your video
You could reinforce the stitching with hot glue I suppose? ...does the buckle come apart if thé cat gets stuck? I worry about this. I have made chain collars using aluminium jump rings (you can get amazing colours and they're really light and if the cat gets caught on anything, the aluminium jump rings pull apart without too much force so they are basically safe. I really worry about cats getting stuck with collars so I always make sure that its either like the aluminium and will come apart easily, or that the buckles are quick release (they should be able to come apart at the buckle without too much pulling. ..take the cat's weight into consideration. ..if it's a kitten the collar should come apart really easily. ..better the collar breaks easily than the cat.
I'm not good at DIY. LOL! But I have this awesome reflective cat collar I bought from Bemix Pets for only $7.84. They sell it on Amazon. Believe me, it's really good!
My favorite is the red and black one with hearts
Thank you!
