    Several years ago I went to Montreal and Quebec City in the fall. Now I would love to return to Quebec City to experience the Christmas markets during the holidays. Sadly my friends and family do not like to travel so I will go by myself. I go to Europe alone every year so I am used to it 😁

    Hello Sixty & Me. Glad to see you again doing informed videos. I like the way that you are motivating your subscribers to do what they like to do while there is time to do it. Also health is to be taken in consideration. I would like to reach out & encourage others. My hobbies are reading trying new recipes working magazine puzzles to continue to keep the mind occupied. I love your videos you talk on different topics. Continue to keep the videos coming. Have a pleasant day. From Texas.❤❤

    Thanks, Margaret, for an absolutely right direction you are leading us in. Feeling joy is one of the life priorities, so I always have an urge to replace a phrase "a Bucket List" with "a List of Joyful Events"🙂You look wonderful! P.S. Finished my Master's at the age of 58, and was not the oldest student in the group. Dreamed about it since my early 20s...Virtual traveling is on my agenda now, more specifically: Switzerland-my dream destination🙂

    Love your positivity, dear Margaret. I'm 67 and healthy . Recently divorced. And cooking/catering for others to earn some extra income, my pension is very low. Now is the time to do things I really really want to do. Finish my book and publish it. High on my list is learning to dance the Tango in Buenos Aires. I had some lessons in my native country NL . I have a big love for tango music. I looked into it and the costs are in the thousends euros, all in. I always did put myself last, now is the time. Should I take the leap? Or safe the money for a new car or put it towards a house with a garden? I would love to have a garden again. Something that is also one of my desires.
    Big hug , Saskia

      Saskia. You dont need to go to Argentina to learn tango. There are excellent Argentinian teachers in Europe. In Spain for example.

    I am so excited to watch your trip videos. I always wanted to be brave enough to go on an adventure like you. Last year I got up the courage and toured Ireland. My great grandparents are from the west of Ireland and it meant so much to me. Now I want to see the U.K. Hope I can swing it.

    Yes, Margaret...I really want to go to the Abbruzzo region of Italy, where my mom's side of the family is from. But, money is tight, and, I have no travel partner. Also, I'm a little afraid to travel, as a woman of a certain age, alone. The world is a chaotic place right now.
    I guess we'll see. TY for all the wonderful suggestions. If not now, when? Hugs. Rosemarie ❤️

      Hi Rosemarie. Check out Amazing Abruzzo Tours run by a Canadian couple, Jake Rupert and Lisa Grassi-Blais. We have been 3 times. It is a family experience, and you would be very comfortable as a solo traveller. I cannot go on enough to say it is a holiday you will never forget. Just mention Bev and David. Cheers ❤

    I'm planning to go to Nepal next April.
    Has anyone been there?

    • @sixtyandme
      @sixtyandme  2 месяца назад +1

      hello Sandra. I have been there 30 years ago and found it the most fascinating place. I’ve recently watched a podcast on a visit to Nepal and it doesn’t seem to have change. It’s very spiritual and traditionally. I was there during the rainy season and that was quite challenging. Flights and transportation can be an issue so you have to pack your patience. I hope you have a wonderful time.

      @@sixtyandme Thank you so much Margaret for your kind advice. It's so helpful to know first hand, as reading about it doesn't help nearly as much.
      The air fares keep going up, but still hoping for a bargain 🙏 There's a small group of us going by ourselves. Your videos are great and I enjoy listening to them xx
