One note for B mode that didn't came up yet in the comments: B mode is engine brake. It's meant to be used strictly in downhill in order to not stress the battery with constant charging. Don't drive in B mode on plain roads.

Drove one over 1500 km as a rental in Ireland last week. 4.1 l / 100 km without trying. Comfortable and handled windy roads without issue. Also, more spacious than it looks. There is a lot to like here. I wish they offered it in North America !

I tested one from a dealer on a 30 minute drive on mixed roads. I got 74mpg average and I wasnt even trying ! Smooth, refined, nice sounding engine, great ECVT. You will hear noise from the engine as its a three cylinder. Some people dont like the sound, you cant avoid it, the nature of it is vocal. Just tried another one today and the only negative for the money, the interior seems a bit cheap and there were numerous buzzes and rattles which for a 20k plus car seems a bit poor. Interior panels on the doors seem a bit flimsy. I had a Mini Cooper S a while ago, much more solid interior, same goes for the Subaru Outback I had. Sorry Toyota, great car but not premium enough inside.

Went fo a test drive 2 weeks ago, the engine noise is a smooth responsive sound and in a way I liked it.
I love the two-tone on car dashboards. I would still buy a car based on this alone

Cruise controle will not activate when you are in B mode. B mode is btw engine breaking, not more regenerating. 😀It's a great car 😀

You can't activate cruise control etc, in B mode. Has to be in D.

On big snow not so good but on Swiss roads is very good also in winter 👍
Winter or snow tyres if you live in a region that gets a lot of snow.
