I have osteoarthritis in my knee and it’s stage 3, almost bone on bone. I started intermediate fasting and lost 25 lbs in about 6 months. Thank you for this.

Arthritis can happen at any age but more common when you are older. A prior injury could cause it. Obesity is a risk factor. Check with your doctor.

I have lost 25 pounds since my left TKR in August 2021...so im a little over 4 months out.
I weighed 165 lbs at 5'3" at sx and now Jan 2022, I weigh 143. Im happy, but also concerned. I do take pain med, but have never taken a whole pill (percocet 5 /325) if back/hip and knee in pain i would try tylenol, if not heloful, i take half Percocet and have never taken any more than 2 in a day. Im just wondering if youve had any patients lose a lot of weight after their TKR. My surgeon doesnt seem to be concerned. Thank you again for all you do for us (L. TKR pt)
