I absolutely love this! It's like just what you need and nothing you don't. Thanks for the ideas too!
Nice set up... well thought out.
Really a good setup for camping Thank you for the great ideas 💡
thank you for sharing. I have been thinking to do that on my new 4Runner.....
Awesome setup. Enjoyed the video. Giving me great ideas
Nice setup!
July 2021. Awesome!
Man you're so happy when talking about your set-up =) Like other comments, you got everything you need and nothing you don't. I find that a lot of the overland jeeps are overloaded.
This is my favorite solo setup I’ve seen!
Thanks, it works really well. I still have some projects I want to do still but that never ends.
Can you do a close up and explanation of how you made the platform for your bed? I can’t tell what material you used. I’ve been looking into making a platform in my Jeep. I love your setup!
Ya I was thinking I should have filmed it but I can do a video on how it turned out and how it works.
Same here - it looks like you put some support under the board, maybe to level it?
Yes, please. Love to see how you bridged the gap for your sleeping platform. Thank you!
Love the setup, man! I have a Jeep Renegade which of course is much smaller. But I’ve been able to overland with it pretty well. Love seeing these ideas for my system.
I love the Renegade! I almost got one instead of this Jeep.
Get a garden spray container that you can pump for pressure , from home depot
Nice will see if I can do with my KL...
Got no advice for you brother, but thanks for putting the video out there, definitely inspired me to do some more work on my jeep!
I like it. Great! Have you done any videos on the actual kitchen pull-out setup?
From an RV camper, this really makes me want to try car camping!! What do you do to use the bathroom when you’re not near a bath house? Dumb question but really curious as this obviously doesn’t stop you from overlanding. Thanks for the great videos! Subscribed.
I need to do this!!!!
USB water bottle pump on Amazon. For 5 gallon water bottle. I seen where a RUclipsr placed a magnet to hold the pump then threaded a waterline to his tank down in the spare tire section underneath.
i love
For water storage I've seen a guy bought a new boat fuel tank and used it for water storage for a shower or to wash dishes. It has a pressurized bulb to pump and changed the fuel line out with a kitchen sink spray nozzle. He set the tank out in the sun most of the time during the stay at campsite. Just a suggestion. I may have to try this myself.
Very nice! Makes me want to do the same.
Go for it. It's fun to dream up changes and such.
Nice setup! You were thinking of pressurized water, an idea could be to seal your rear bumper (holds like 8 gal.)and add a demand pump. Plenty of how tos on here or the web.
I have heard that people do that. I wonder if they use a pump or gravity for the water coming out.
I’d love more info on the bed platform. It looks like it is made of HDPE?
Awesome! It’s a lot like mine! What are your thoughts on rooftop tents?
I think rooftop tent is my next step. Just like the simplicity of all inside the Jeep.
Where and how do you store the front section of the bed platform? I did a very similar set up, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where to store the front section.
tell us about the roto pax gas can mount. do you have any issues with it swelling in hot weather? who makes the mount? Are those aftermarket hinges?
The gas mount is a rotopax jeep hinge mount with a rotopax tank on it. It mounts to the stock jeep hinges. I did not do a review on it because the metal is just to thin. I had to modify it so it would stop vibrating back and forth. I like the look and design just not thick enough steel.
That whole video and you didn't show the bed in night mode? :(
That is one sweet setup; now with 3 overgrown pups I'm looking at towing a blackseries pop up trailer. You have your stock rear bumper, check out ruclips.net/video/k5DBpzoKIMo/видео.html # DIY water storage
Hey don't knock the old school ground tents... I'm looking into the OZtent RV5 for my pups - 30 second setup.
