You're always working in filthy conditions Glen...but since I'm working off the garage floor or driveway too it all makes sense to me. I recently pulled up your rear wheel bearing clip to change mine out and it helped a lot to see how things came out and went back together. Got the bearings installed without a hitch on my '02 Dodge Cummins. Master cylinder looks easy in comparison. Thanks man!
I was cleaning my master cylinder and was removing the reservoir and I head something fall out down into my trash can. Is there anything on the top side that should be there. All the exploded views I’ve looked don’t show any other part that suppose to be able fall out like I heard fall down into my trash can. Thanks
Hi, Good vidéo , I need to change the 2 master cylinder lines, do you remember the size of the 2 bolts ? Is M12x1 front and M10x1 rear bubble flare in the master cylinder, or other size ? Thank you for your help
i just recently replaced all the brake lines, calipers/rotors/pads and master cylinder on my 01 2500. after numerous bleeding, the brake pedal is still very spongy and barely engages the brakes (undriveable). how would you be able to diagnose a bad master cylinder VS air in the brake lines? i have bled many brakes before without issue, but never replaced a master cylinder, and this is the first time i have had this problem where it seem like all the air is out of the system, but the brakes are still spongy
If you did all that work the only thing it could be is air. Try to bleed it from the master cylinder by loosening the lines from the cylinder first. It can take a long time to bleed the hole system.
@@Glennfix thanks for the reply. the problem ended up being that I had the rear calipers on the wrong side and it wasn't letting it bleed properly. I didn't even realize they would fit on the wrong side, but they do.

Glenn. Thank you so much for sharing. Very awesome tip for bleeding the cylinder. Happy holidays to you and your family. Keep up the good work. 🍻
Glad it helped
What tools did you use to get the master cylinder off? Sizes, etc...

The only thing is rubber grommets that hold the reservoir in

I am not sure what size they are.
Ooo thats sexy glenn slam the old cylinder again 🤣🤣🤣
Does the truck need to be running when you do the bleeding
It makes it easier but it is not necessary
Hello is this the same process for a 07 dodge nitro?
