This was recorded at Abbey road,London. Adele was recording at Abbey road on the same day. When Adele heard Paolo Nutini was in the studio too she went in to his studio and watched him record Iron Sky. Adele was watching from behind the camera and she said at the time it was the best live recording she'd ever heard.

So funny watching her literally melt over him! 🤣 I was lucky enough to see him in 2006 at a gig in Manchester in front of about 200 people, he'd just released These Streets (fantastic album start to finish) and was still pretty unknown...he was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Still to this day the best live performance I've seen, just an unbelievable, underated, under appreciated talent. Pure class! 👌

I saw Paolo a couple of months ago. I was dragged there by my wife basically. However, I was totally blown away. I knew some of his stuff but was unprepared for that voice. Just incredible live. Way better than his recorded stuff. If you ever get the chance to see him please do so. This video only scratches the surface of his talent. Incredible.

Try "Let me down easy" from the same Abbey Rd session. American's just missed on him when he first started releasing albums back in 2007. But you get another chance as he's in studio currently, judging from where his band mates have been tweeting and etc from (he's not into social media himself) . Hopefully it's coming out next year. He's booked for an early summer music festival here in Scotland next year so with luck that's the start of a proper tour, not just a one off performance near his home town.
That's great news, I discovered Paolo some months ago, and after listening to his older releases tried to find more, but there wasn't any, seemed to me like he quit singing / recording some years ago...
