Great race! Nice to see Ross Chastain win his first Nascar Cup Series race! It sucks for AJ Allmedinger tho. He had a good run till he lost it there. No worries AJ! You'll win a race soon.

This race was picture perfect in my eyes. Incredible racing, a finish that not only reminded me of Tony's final win back in 2016 but to quote Mike Joy, ''We'll be replaying it until the end of time'', and loving Tony up in the booth. THIS SEASON, NEW CAR, and the PARITY with Chastain being the THIRD first time winner, just absolutely incredible! Can't wait for the rest of the season!
Congrats to the Watermelon man, Ross Chastain! Another first time winner in just a few races 🍉 Amazing run by Bowman too and an amazing comeback from Christopher Bell, who had steering issues earlier in the race which put him a lap down, then coming back to finish 3rd! Also a great comeback from Erik Jones who's car stopping then recovering to finish 9th
What an incredible race an epic 3 way fight for the win legend battle around the long right turn chastain get his first cup win in an legend race, Nr.1 dominate at Cota, turn 1 legend traffic jam 🤩🤩🤩
What an insane race 🏁 ..... So Happy for Team TrackHouse getting their first win 🏁 of the season ...... They are going to be unstoppable ( but my heart 💔 for Daniel ) .... I feel like he got screwed in stage 2 ..... But his time will come .... Once they start getting these wins 🏁 .... They'll be hard to beat.
This race really made me appreciate the Oval Courses and all non-road course tracks. I’m a Chase Elliott Fan but am really happy for Chastain. Great race, tons of variety and love all the strategies and tight corners. Best race so far this year⚡️⚡️
@@andrefleming9923 that should be his first-ever road course win and he is so close to win that, but I'm happy for the Melonman with his first-ever win, what a fighter he is.
Sure would be nice to see the end of the stages and the race for other cars besides the lead car. At least show the top 10 cross the finish line before cutting away to a commercial or a crew celebrating. Please. Fox has always been my favorite and this year I'm super bummed with the race coverage. The announcers are still great though. Something really bad happened to the producing or directing or something.
The "Watermelon Man" plays a high stakes game of croquet, get a twofer and snags NASCAR Cup Win #1. Last laps don't get any better than that! Nice job Ross Chastain...the drive of your life.
Depends on what you mean by best. If you don't like road racing then you don't like it. I'm hard core gearhead so I'm loving it but best of the year isn't the same racing as the other tracks. When Dodge comes back it will be as good as it was before 2008
TRACKHOUSE RACING are legit championship contenders with Ross Chastain. If he can make it to Phoenix, he’s already proven that he has the talent and equipment to win. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out! What a race!
What a race ! Although on a road circuit like this one, I think that the yellow flags are not out at a relevant moment. You really don't need to raise the flag when the incident is mostly a couple of cars off the track that can in the end get back to the track after the main pack. The security team would still have plenty of time to decide whether to raise the flag or not before the pack gets back to the incident location one complete lap after the crash. Of course, the restart is an exciting moment so caution flag enhances the excitement of the whole event.
The new car males a better road race car then a oval car. Keep this for road course and make a new car for oval and dirt. Teams already have cars built for each type of race so won't cost them anymore to have two differebt types of cars completely and make the ultimate oval cup car that the world has ever seen. And if you wanna go arcs racing you cam find last year's gen cup cars for sale cheap for a most up to date cup car. You can run a short local track with a few volunteers your self for cheap racing wise in arca a race or two a year won't cost more then running a super latemodel for 5 races
Best part of the day was Chastain picking up his brother/spotter after the race. Second best part was Jessy Wallace yeeeted tire heading to the blue room 🤣😜
10:55 wtf Bowman did? 'I dont mind he moved him he moved him back" yeah Bowman did not move anyone and still he pushed him out, wtf this is like online f1 2021
I love Nascar, everything about it, but we really need more excitement in the announcers booth....I love these guys, but the excitement on the track isn't matching the excitement in the booth
Ross didnt "move" him as the term of art goes. He showed zero skill just ran right into the back of AJ and turned him. AJ had every right to move Ross as Ross cuts down on AJ earlier. Ross just showed he is not in the same class.
Man, no track limits and ramming people off course. No wonder no one takes nascar seriously on road courses. Even with the new gen of cars which were supposed to make these tracks better.
I can't believe what has happened to Chase Elliott ever since Kyle Larson has joined Hendrick. He must be psyched out by his talent or something. He just isn't himself lately.
I mean I'm not a Chase fan and I know he hasn't won this year but... he's first in points and Larson while already in the playoffs with a win is down in 16th. Not to mention last year he still won some races and was in the championship 4
Is that really a serious question last week at Atlanta 46 lead changes among 20 drivers, this race 13 among 9 drivers, it was a total snooze fest for 3 hours and 20 minutes the last 57 seconds were exciting.
Is this the best race of the season so far?
Yea ofc

If every NASCAR race is like this, I'm watching more NASCAR.
Imagine if the F1 race was this exciting!!!

wow.
I can guarantee you that this finish deserves an Oscar for One of the greatest finishes in NASCAR History
100%, 3 cars tussling for the lead racing hard using all of the track
right
yeah
Ok
One thing I really like about this track is how on restarts they charge into one 5 and 6 wide it reminds me of pocono 02-05
Could be said for Phoenix around same time to 2011...
honestly im kinda excited for the pocono race with this car i got this oddly good feeling it could be good
Wow, COTA, i mean that's all i've got to say, what a track, best racing I've seen so far at COTA just awesome.
Tyler Reddick has become a competitive driver each week. He's gonna get his first win soon.

Track limits? Never heard of them. Causing a collision? Yup uh huh, I sure did! Unsafe release? Oh we're throwing the book at you.😂
Do they film these races through a screen door from an RV in the parking lot? The quality is genuinely abysmal.
